Can someone help me with the best ways to get last minute tickets. I know of StubHub and SeatGeek, the Ticketmaster app as well. I'm a flight attendant and will be in Chicago tomorrow night and Friday night. I heard that people drop their prices closer to show time, if anyone has any tips or info I would be forever grateful. Please message me!
Also, is Karen Olivo and Wallace Smith in this week?

He didn't stage door on Tuesday. But I must say I thought Wayne was electric in the role! His Room Where It Happens gave me CHILLS especially the end of the song!!! Everyone was absolutely amazing, Wallace Smith and Chris Lee really brought it, Sam was on fire, Karen gave it everything she had, Miguel was memorable, and Alex was too funny. The understudy was in for Eliza and she was cool. Overall I enjoyed it, I like how it wasn't a carbon copy of NYC.
Is Karen leaving early? I heard Emmy Raver Lampam was flown from NYC rehearsals to perform Angelica because the standby was on as Eliza. Then this about Candace coming into the show. I really hope Karen isn't leaving yet, I truly wanted to see her, and I am going next week! Can anyone confirm?
I think Candace is a tad too young. Candace might just be taking over Emmy's track, because I don't think she's been replaced yet. So they probably flew Emmy in since her replacement isn't ready.

Aubin Wise was excellent (and extremely well reviewed by the head Tribune critic recently). The Burr understudy (I forget his name... sorry-sorry) was absolutely excellent.

Do you mean Carl Clemons-Hopkins?

I'm seeing the show the 15th matinee. I know seeing a matinee I should expect a higher chance to see understudies. I originally got the tickets for a matinee for the sole reason I might have been able to see Emmy go on, but that's a lost hope now.

I know Ari and Karen have been out lately. Just seeing if anyone knows if they are back and if they perform at the matinee on Wednesdays? I know Wayne will be out, but partaking Karen and Ari are in! Any thoughts?

Thanks so much!
They have no scheduled absences, but you never know.
Saw the evening performance last night. Everyone was in (except Jin Ha was King George) and including Wayne Brady, who posted last week he would be out on the 8th, but was there last night. Show was rock solid. Next to perfection. Karen Olivo still steals the show. Her Angelica is so raw and vulnerable. Her amazing riffs and personal character choices are brilliant. Ari Afsar had the smile you couldn't help but love. Her voice seems to be growing more and more. Miguel is nothing but a triumph. I am loving him being so much shorter than Burr/Washington. Strong throughout. Wayne Brady I thought was really good, he made Burr his own. His left knee was padded and bandaged, it made his costume pants all uneven (that is the only way I remembered his incident). Samantha Ware is perfectly cast and is a powerhouse. Was even watching her on the sidelines and she is 100% all the time. Just a fantastic show with a very responsive audience. Time to go again soon!
Things I noticed in the playbill, only one understudy for Angelica (Aubin Wise) and Samantha Ware understudies Eliza. I must have missed this last time. Has she gone on yet? I would love to see her in the role.
Chicago has a good thing going and I only hope they will stay for a long time!
I saw the show last night too (it was fantastic!) and was thrilled the Brady was in even though he said he wasn't going to be. I was suprised to see the Jin Ha was in, there was no slip (that I noticed). Kind of sad because I was looking forward to seeing Alexander (I loved him in Assassins!) but Jin was great!
