I waited for Day-Lewis, Cotillard, et al. after the show and the only person who came out was the theater manager who told me he was gonna call the cops.
Dame Judi Dench, Sophia Loren and the little kid who played Young Guido were the only ones who came out here in South Florida. Dench said the others left thru the garage exit.
I haven't been able to go yet. What merch. is there? Do you think I could stage door if I don't have a ticket?
"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert
I did, Fergie was very nice, we chatted a bit, she took a picture with me, and told me herself that she'd be staying with the show through March 20th. It's absolutely, positively true since it comes from the horse's mouth.
"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"
omggg I heard that the cast wont b in Australia and USA at same time when it opens here..this not fair I paid to see them. Will Artthor read them the patriot act?
"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022)
"Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009)
"Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

I am so mad because Marion didn't come out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Neither did Daniel, I wanted to see if I could hold his Oscars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guys, I have a train to catch straight after, so I was wondering if you know what time Daniel and Marion and Kate get to the theatre beforehand? Has anyone ever tried to catch them before the show started, are they nice or in a big ol' rush?
Yeah you can eat in the theater. They serve popcorn there just like at Hairspray and let me tell you, Nicole got piiiiiiiiised someone was munching away during her one scene. She couldn't even keep her accent she was so upset.
They cut the intermission because Rob thought people would leave and not come back if they kept it in, just like they did with 13.

LOL!
Can anyone tell me the best seats for audience interaction? I *heart* Daniel and I really hope he'll come over and sit on my lap during one of his songs. Thanks!
Seat B1 is great if you're seeing it at the AMC 12 in Miami and A 106 is where you want to be if you're seeing it at the Regal in Provo, UT.
Warning: If you see the film at the Landmark 16 in Macon, GA, DO NOT sit in the front row especially during Marion's "Take It All" number. You WILL get wet.
Does anyone know if they are still doing some lines in Italian? or did they finally change it to English? I wonder if the choreography or Unusual Way would have been tougher if CZJ had stayed on.
