I remember seeing a community theater production of Godspell that was at least 3 hours long! They kept adding things....and the tempos were ridiculously slow....and then there was my very dear Jewish friend next to me who kept saying "I don't get it...what's the story?" Yeah....it was quite boring!
"Capeman"
"Titanic" (granted, I saw the 3rd preview performance which ran just over 3hrs. After the opening number, I couldn't wait for the damn thing to sink.)
Mamet's "The Old Neighborhood"
"Juan Darien"
"Whistle Down the Wind"
"The Chairs"

Haha, popculture, some of these people you REALLY have to simplify for.
Now that I think about it, I started to drift my attention a bit at DOUBT. I wasn't entirely thrilled by it and almost dozed off at one point.

African Sing - NEPAD the Musical
In case you are wondering what NEPAD is, it's an economic policy for the African continent. Reading the 400 pages plus document was more interesting that going throughthe show.

I was bored out of my mind during Little Women.
And anytime Brooke Shields was on stage during Wonderful Town.
I got really bored in this community production of Little Red Riding Hood and another community production of Snow White. Jeez they were cheesy -- I can't believe I didn't learn after seeing one of the community ones, but no, I had to go back for seconds. Ughh, they were bad!

The second act of Into the Woods got a little tiny bit boring...VERY long.
CATS was boring from beginning to end.
Dracula, Beauty and the Beast--after a while I had to just tune out Brooke Tansley's sobbing delivery of every line. Ugh.

Cats and Lion King. I'm just not big on the dancing.
I went to the closing performance of On Golden Pond yesterday, because I wanted to see Charles Turner as Norman. I had already seen it (in DC) with J.E.J., and was not a fan of the show. Yesterday, I felt that the only way I was going to be able to keep my eyes open was if I pulled a Clockwork Orange.
i was greatly let down by the producers on tour!

a local prodcution of Godspell -- that I was actually *in*!
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels was just about the most boring experience I have ever had in a Broadway theatre. The Frogs was also pretty horrendous.

I almost fell asleep near the end of the first act of Cats at The Muny last summer - horrbile.
Hey, freeadmission: was "The Importance of Being Frank" a spoof in any way of "The Importance of Being Earnest?"

Wendy - HA!! Nope...mine was in Colorado Springs. That makes 2 really boring Godspell productions. Anyone else?
I was very bored in CATS in London, some years ago. On Broadway I got a little bored at some places in BRKLYN and lately, again in London I almost dozed off at some points in THE WOMAN IN WHITE.

Right before it closed, a few friends and myself went to go see Cabaret. I found my eyes closing several times throughout the entire play. I probably took about 5 power naps throughout the show.

Cats for me - my mom and I saw a tour when it came to Baltimore and it was wretched. I don't see the allure of this show...
Other than that, our college productions are sometimes rather, um, lacking in the excitement factor. I go see them because my roommate and friends are usually in them, but ugh... sometimes it's hard to stay focused! School for Scandal comes to mind first... even my roommate said she found it boring - and she was in it!
