I don't know how people do it. I never made it all the way through the first episode with their stupid crap and their autotune. But congrats to people who could do it.
Ever since it premiered, friends I only see once in a while inevitably say, "Oh, you must love Glee too! It's so your thing." I don't know why they think of me as having taste that would make it my thing.

I want to join the club of people who hate being told by people who like GLEE that they are so surprised I don't like. It's not my kind of show. I watched two episodes and couldn't handle it.
As I say to them, "I love LIVE theatre, so what on earth would make you think I want to hear teens warble to pre-recorded autotune. I like LIVE singing without effects. Now go away."

I hate that the show has brought attention to such a wide variety of music and that it has encouraged students to join choir and theatre. I really can't stand that they showcase a variety of people especially minorities since they are flooding TV shows anyway. The worst has to be the positive and realistic portrayal of gay and lesbian students. Let's start a I hate Glee campaign and once we get that rolling we should start a I hate American Idol campaign because amateur singers shouldn't have a chance of a career.

I'm not crazy about the show but I have a great deal of respect for the fact that so many musical numbers are created, choreographed, and finished so quickly. And done very well!
Plus I love watching Heather Morris.

They do songs cause they will make money ("Bieber is the epitome of rock" my ass) and some of those people can actually sing well, i feel like the young generation they're trying to appeal to likes that sound. The thing that really grinds my gears? When all of the glee club comes in and you hear this automated voice.
