Wow Travolta was extra creepy. The stills captured from that face touching moment are priceless.
I love how the intention was to come full circle on the Adele Dazeem moment and now he's opened up a whole new set of jokes with the touching. Travolta is a creepster.

Not just his fondling of Idina Menzel, but what the hell with Scarlett Johansson? (I was hoping she'd go Black Widow on him, given the expression on her face!)
So this explains Menzel's absence from IF/THEN yesterday, but that's really too bad for those who traveled to see the show. It seems the Oscars and everyone involved did their best to keep this very hush-hush, thus no advance notice on Ticketmaster.

Seems like they did a good job keeping it quiet.
Maybe this is Travolta's strategy to keep getting invites ... do something weird and they keep having you back to fix it? :)

Yes, Jackie went on. There were a bunch of unhappy people on social media at the time Menzel was announced absent, which is understandable.
Didn't NPH joke about getting Travolta back next year so he could apologize for the face-fondling? Though I'd rather not see Travolta again, really.

Yes, I wish Travolta would go away.
I'm sure people weren't happy about Menzel being absent. It does seem like apart from special appearances like this that she has had a great track record. Which I know means nothing on the day you have tickets. Maybe the folks who started a twitter campaign to "get Jackie Burns another show!" were happy.

I kind of wish the NFL and Oscars people had to pay for those weeks' nuts as part of the deal to get Menzel out there, but oh well.

Posted: 2/23/15 at 3:29pmI tried the if/then lottery yesterday. I Had no idea Idina would not be in. It was not crowded at all everyone won. They had a few lottery tickets left over. Jackie was good I did not know how she would be, going into this show having only seen Idina in the role. But Jackie did a great job.
