Tony Award nominations are announced TOMORROW! We all have our predicted locks, strong possibilities, and favorites that don't fit either category. We've had a thread like this in past years, so I thought we could have some fun again.
So, if you could guarantee ONE nomination/set of related nominations tomorrow and be promised NOTHING else in regard to nominations, what would it be?
I'll start: guarantee would be for Caissie Levy and Patti Murin to both garner nominations for FROZEN.
What will tickle you pink tomorrow?

Katrina Lenk for Best Actress, Band's Visit for Best Musical and Best Score.
The absolute dream would be a Phillip Boykin nomination... but in a slightly more realistic world, my one guarantee would be Kenita Miller getting into the featured actress category.
Also Etai Benson, but I don't know who I'm kicking out to make room for him and Boykin, haha. (I'd be down with a Benson/Boykin/Butz/Lee/Stachel category. Not gonna happen, but a girl can dream!)

Kenita and Philip absolutely both deserve nominations. Will it happen? Who knows
Alex Newell for Featured Actor in a Musical. He so deserves it, and I hope he gets it.
If I had it my way, Jessie Mueller would FOR SURE be nominated for Carousel.
All three actors from "The Children" are nominated. Francesca Annis, Ron Cook, and Deborah Findlay did remarkable work imo. I'm worried that the play flew way too under the radar (curse you and you lack of advertising MTC!) for any of this trio to get nominated, but Findlay in particular gave one of my favorite performances of the year.

Absolutely 100%. No question
I would also guarantee that Ashley Park, Barrett Wilbert Weed, AND Kate Rockwell all got nominations along with Lea Salonga and Lindsay Mendez.

Kate Rockwell- she steals every scene she is in.
Speaking just about musicals, my heart lies with both The Band's Visit and My Fair Lady, which I believe are the two best musical productions of the season. But I'm confident that both will have a great morning tomorrow.
If I need to "guarantee" outside those two shows, I'd love to see both Kenita R. Miller and Kate Rockwell land nominations in Featured Actress.
Honestly? Wesley Taylor or Gavin Lee for SPONGEBOB.
This is kind of a lame-ass year for the Tonys, so I'm not very excited.
In the same boat as Concierge, Katrina is a lock as well as the nominations for Band's Visit and Cursed Child. If I could only guarantee one, it'd also be Kenita R. Miller for Once on This Island.
Norbert Leo Butz. All day. Every day.
Of the ones I’m scared won’t happen? Kenita Miller, ONCE ON THIS ISLAND.

I wish I agreed with you :/ I had heard SUCH good things about his performance, but when I saw it a couple of weeks ago he vocally struggled and seemed distracted the whole show. I would much rather see Phillip Boykin take a OOTI male nomination for featured actor.

Yep yep yep. Actually, if I can revise my guarantee to guarantee that Newell *doesn't* get a nomination, that's my biggest wish. He's giving a fraction of the energy and commitment as every other person in that show, and even though he can (sometimes, when he feels like it, maybe, occasionally) yell out a crowd-pleasing song (a song that's crowd-pleasing no matter who's playing Asaka, FWIW), doesn't mean he deserves to be considered for awards. That's my biggest wish for tomorrow above anything. Every other man in consideration for the category is committed to his role and therefore deserves it more.
Not picking someone/some show that I feel it already pretty much a lock. I would want to guarantee Kenita for Featured Actress. I am hoping beyond hope for tomorrow to see her name. It's a pretty loaded category though and I just hope she finds place in it. If 3 Mean Girls get in and bump her out, that's something I expect to see happen BUT I will be pretty dumbfounded if Lea gets in for OOTI over Kenita who takes a role that I don't think many people considered to be a meaty role and proved otherwise. She kills it.
Never happening, but Merle Dandridge.
James McArdle. (I'd say Andrew Garfield and Denise Gough but I think they're already locks)
for musicals, I'm also on the Kenita train. She was incredible.

Children of a Lesser God nominated for best revival of a play would make me very happy ??
