I adore Jewel and her music has meant a lot to me over the years and I listen to her all the time. But for Cinderella? Hell to the no.

I'm impressed she's trying to sing the score, though. Maybe it's a concert or something.

Has anyone seen the awful Ang Lee movie RIDE WITH THE DEVIL? Jewel is not even acting enough for it to be considered bad acting, whatever it is she calls acting isn't it, so I certainly hope there's no way in hell she'd be a part of this project.

I have no idea what she's like now considering Ride With the Devil was 14 years ago when she was only 25. She'll be starring in the TV movie Ring of Fire as June Carter Cash later this month, so we'll probably have a better idea then. Regardless, it sounds like she may be auditioning for the part as are others, I've no doubt.

Helen Dallimore played the role of Cinderella in the 2010 Regent's Park Theatre production and she was 38 at the time.

I just assumed an actress of her ascension was enough of a star to be only asked to do a reading of a screenplay when she was at least being highly considered for the role. Plus, I had heard she killed.
