Wait- what about that article is a "world exclusive" by BWW? Every single cast member they name has been previously reported as being cast elsewhere. There is literally no exclusive information in that entire article.

"At this point"? You make it sound like they've stunt-casted the sh*t out of this movie with people who are in over their heads. The cast so far is chock full of award winners & nominees, most (if not all) who have very respectable & reputable careers, both in film and onstage.

I have a lot of confidence in this cast.
I think the pressure is off to get a star for Little Red. They've got enough movie star wattage with Streep, Depp, Pine, and Kendrick.
One of the things that occurred to me with Little Red (way more than Jack) is that she has to be "of that age" right before she starts to "know things now." Meaning a child on the verge of puberty and becoming a young woman.
That age doesn't last long at all. I wouldn't want to cast someone now, and find out six months from now she had "blossomed" right out of the part. I wouldn't blame them for waiting until right before filming starts in September, to get it just right (as Goldilocks once said).

Huh? I thought Daniel Huttlesone was confirmed for Jack. I have a feeling that Red Riding Hood actually might go to Sophia Grace.

Wicked, I don't think this film has been stunt cast at all, I love the cast! I was referring to the fact that while almost all of the cast has been confirmed, we still don't have the slightest idea of who is playing little red.

And even if she were available, if they are indeed looking at Huttlestone for Jack I doubt that they would cast a Little Red who is nine years his senior.

Cinderella's Mother is being played by Christine Baranski. Granny and Giant will probably be cameos. I never thought of Lilla for Little Red. I could see that...

That character is largely being cut. The Baker's Father will pop up in a flashback or something, I think, but there's no Mysterious Man no more. There's no "No More" no more.
