Her "Giants in the Sky" will be a revelation

Okay, Lucy Punch as Lucinda. I'm happy. Its a small role, so its small happiness, but happy nonetheless.
Why couldn't Ellen DeGeneres just be Jack?
"Hey everybody. It's good to be here. I'm Ellen. No, just kidding, I'm jack. There are giants in the sky. Watch your head, in case they fall. Ouch, that would hurt. A giant headache, am I right? Can't stay still with the giants. Gotta keep moving. Just keep moving. Just keep moving. Me? I'm Jack. I'm Ellen playing Jack. I gotta move, and by move, I mean dance. Just dance! Gotta dodge the giant! Dah dah doo doo!"
I'm still confused about what constitutes a "world exclusive" in BWW's story. It seems Pat Cerasaro continues to try to peddle himself off as an insider as unsuccessfully while writing for the site as he did while posting on it.
I still vividly remember the time he ran a typically inflated interview with Anika Noni Rose, after which she tweeted that he attributed quotes to her that he completely made up.

They probably won't have anyone very well-known to play the stewart, but he is needed in the film because he kills Jack's Mother. Unless they decide to kill her off a different way.
You mean like when they take information posted by people on here and don't give them source credit for it?
Well, the difference here may be negligible, but it's that the cast in the BWW article is "confirmed," not "in negotiations" or "rumored" or "has been approached to play ..."
They are all confirmed to have the roles.
That means Daniel Huttlestone (or rather his agent) is probably still negotiating the contract and is not "confirmed" to be playing Jack.
So while the list is the same, the status is not. It's now "confirmed" for all those listed.

I'm fairly happy with the cast so far, with the exception of Anna Kendricks, I don't think she's pretty enough or engaging enough for Cinderella. Unfortunately if Cinderella is missing either of the above in this show she fades into obscurity.
World Exclusive?!!!? such hyperbole. I seriously doubt "the world" outside of "Broadway World" even cares.
Cringe worthy writing in that article:
the forthcoming Disney feature film adaptation of Stephen Sondheim & James Lapine's adored and adorable fairy tale-themed musical
Adored and adorable?!! Now surely you jest...

Good casting so far but I still don't understand non-singing Emily Blunt over singing (and proven in the part) Amy Adams??

love love love Blanchard news. I was able to see her in H2$ and thought she hit it out of the park. One of the best parts of that revival...

Non-singing Emily Blunt
I've said a thousand times that I never thought anyone besides a dubbed Sandra Bullock should ever be the Bakers Wife. Then, when I heard Blunt was cast and heard her sing, I knew it was going to be perfect. It's really just one of those things I feel in my bones that (at least that one role) will be exquisite.
The toughest to cast in this whole thing are the Baker and his Wife, and I think they nailed it. They both have the right qualities for the roles.
Are Jack and Red Riding Hood the only two characters left to cast?
I really wish they hadn't cast Anna Kendricks as Cinderella. I'm not a big fan of hers.
Oh, Anna is going to bring so much fun sass to it, though. I predict she will do a wonderful "On the Steps of the Palace"
There are some other minor (but memorable) roles ...
The Giant's Wife
The Steward
The Baker's Father
Cinderella's Mother (Tree/Ghost)
Little Red's Granny
We're also missing Little Red's granny and Cinderella's father.
