I feel for Gavin...I just returned to school yesterday and I know what it's like to go back to work after a nice vacation (except my summer totally sucked...and Gavin probably LIKES his Job).

I'm a long time lurker on this board but just felt like saying that every time I read this thread I get the biggest grin on my face (and its not just from all of the adorable pictures you all keep posting of Mister Creel either )

In honor of being able to see Hair tomorrow I'm going to post a picture of my own :] Apologies in advance if it has been posted already or if I upload it incorrectly. From what I can tell it was Gavin's portrayal of Berger during the Actors Fund Benefit Concert of Hair. I figure I can't be the only one who loves his version of "Going Down" right?

Thanks for the welcome singalongsong! You all seemed so nice and friendly on this topic at least that I couldn't help but reply. Also I figured at least here I wouldn't be the only one with a bit of a crush on Gavin hehe. As of right now I'm trying to pick out an outfit for when I see Hair tomorrow. I don't own any real hippie garb so its either fake something like that or just dress to look good.

hi markcohen! you won't find a nicer group of people on the board than on the Hair-related threads. Everyone here is awesome!

I'd say just dress comfortably and nice. Only a portion of the people wear hippie garb, so you won't look out of place if you don't LOL but for future reference, there's a great site called www.hippieshop.com if you really want some hippie stuff

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows if there is any other way to buy Gavin's cd other than online (I checked cdbaby.com and it says out of stock)? I've heard so many good things about goodtimenation, and I'm dying to listen to it.

P.S. So excited to see Hair in September! I honestly cannot wait!!

Leia: From what I've seen so far everyone on these Hair related friends does seem to be the friendliest and most welcoming bunch of people here! I also decided just to dress in something I look and feel good in. My sister [who I'm taking as a birthday present] was planning on dressing hippie but she ended up deciding against it also. Oh, and thanks for the website! If anything I'll definitely end up buying myself a peace symbol bracelet or something they look so nice.

Taylor: I have to say I am having a hard time deciding who's version I enjoy more, Gavin's or Will's. Though I say why worry about that and enjoy them both.

Singalongsong: Haha I'm glad you like it. I found it when randomly searching for Gavin pictures and thought it was cute and appropriate.

Cats: I myself just discovered that picture tonight. I didn't realize that the benefit concert had "costumes." I also notice that Gavin has the image on his facebook but it seems to be the same size as the one I posted, sorry

And I just gotta say once again that I never expected such a warm welcome. Thanks again everyone :)

kimci2, i'm not sure about a hard copy.... maybe Amazon.com? I know you can buy the digital copy on iTunes. That's what I did. Also, I do believe they sell a hard copy at the show, so you can get one when you go in Sept.

The benefit didn't really have "costumes" per se- I remember reading somewhere that what Gavin was wearing was really a last-minute choice. He just took his shirt off and tied some ties to his arms.

The rest, of course, is hot. History, I meant.

kimchi22: I checked Amazon and it says it has been discontinued there as well. There is some website I found called CDUniverse that claims to have the physical CD in stock to buy but its about 10$ more expensive than an iTunes purchase and I've heard mixed reviews about their reliability. If you desperately want to listen to it you could try searching for it at last.fm and listen to it for free otherwise the only other way is to buy it through iTunes.

They did film the concert professionally, but I believe you can only purchase it from shady dealers.

Apparently a bubbletweet is just a video, only instead of going to a separate page, Gavin pops up in a little "bubble" on the screen. Unfortunately my laptop occaisionally doesn't have sound when it turns on and I haven't restarted it, so I don't know what the video is about lol
