Au contrare, if there’s one thing I know about great Broadway stunt casting is it’s all about timing and the timing of this stunt casting couldn’t be more perfect because it’s a Winter Olympic year. Also, since she’s playing the same dance track that Charli D’Amelio did and what better way to cast that track than not just with an Olympic gold medal gymnast but a fantastic dancer as well!

Bayardelle will depart on June 14.

Chrissy Metz will play Angelique from June 18 - September 13.

For what it’s worth, I saw the current cast back in April and they were absolutely fantastic- the show is in just as great shape as it was when I saw it in previews!

I actually ran into Zalah once last year outside of the show, Jordan. I spotted her at Burger Bash at South Street Seaport… I wasn’t 100% sure it was her, so I just gave her a glimpse and went on my way.

Corey Mach was very good on the tour. It's great that he'll get the chance to play Shakespeare on Broadway.

And Ben Jackson Walker seems to be the show's ultimate utility player. After he left the Broadway production, he jumped into the UK tour after the original Romeo took ill and withdrew. No he's going back into Broadway. A good gig for him.
