Intermission. Jenn plays the role completely different than Idina and Jackie. Jenn is amazing. Her acting is what's really surprising me, in a good way of course. She plays the role with more warmth. Also, the way she plays off of James and Anthony, lots of chemistry. Also really liking Janet Krupin as Elena.

Judging by how Colella interacts with everyone in the cast (especially seen in the Hey Kid vlogs), I think the chemistry would be easy. I hope the theater didn't mostly vacate, but either way, those remaining get a treat. Out of curiosity, did they go with a wig? Since Colella's normal 'do is shockingly different from all public images...

I wouldn't be surprised if they went with a wig. Don't Menzel, and Burns both wear wigs in the show even though their hair fits the brand of the show? I believe they do just like the blondes who played Elle still wore wigs.

I'm fairly certain Menzel only straightens her curly hair while Burns sticks with her natural 'do. Colella, though? I can't even visualize it, but I'm probably projecting her Anne instead (since she's said Anne matches her natural personality closest, I think).

Menzel has had a cold since last week. Jackie took vacation days, and I remember seeing on her Twitter that (someone? her husband?) needed hip surgery so they had to fly somewhere.
