Playbill can't come up with their own ideas?

Jane's video is from Funny or Die, Will Ferrell & Adam McKay's site.
Re-watched Laura's today and laughed out loud. The Tinkerbell scene is hilarious.
Laura Benanti also thinks she did it better. Apparently we're not allowed to have two takes on the same sort of joke.

It's not just a "take on the same joke", they blatantly copied her idea and did not give her credit. That's stealing.
Isn't it in the same vein as the video they did of Jean Dujardin auditioning for a bunch of villain roles? Like two years ago?
SH*T, Laura B. really isn't happy. Multiple tweets or retweets about this. At least most of them are still very funny. In fact, I've been taking a Twitter break and hadn't seen many of the gems she's been posting lately. Like this. God bless her.

Well, she's certainly not full of Steven Pasquale. amirite?
I worship the ground Laura B walks on but she needs to chill out about this. I remember watching her video when it came out (at a far less prescient time) and thinking it was unfunny and trying too hard in the non ironic sense. All that being said, Krakowski is doing something quite different here and I guarantee those involved in hers had probably never seen LB's. It shouldn't even be an issue though considering how OBVIOUS a target this whole thing is. It's a viral little clip... It's fine.

its pretty funny but really a D+
its stupid copy cat humor
Jane is pretty good singer though and actress maybe she should do it on Broadway

Let's not forget also that it is in keeping with Krakowski's media persona (which remains heavily influenced by Jenna Maroney) to take something someone else did and do it herself, albeit a little more ridiculously.

Jane Krakowski reminds me of Liza Minnelli in that video. I don't know whether that's good or bad.
Let's get right down to it. Laura Benanti is Courtney Cox and Jane Krakowski is Lisa Kudrow. No matter how hard Courtney tries to be Lisa, she will never have the uniqueness that made Lisa "Lisa." Courtney was always meant to be the George Burns to Lisa's Gracie Allen.
In short, Laura is trying way too hard and doesn't have the satirical ability that comes naturally to Jane.
In this competition, I vote Jane.
I think she might wanna be in Cabaret!!
Yeah, Laura is being bitchy about this. The tweet didn't load by the way. Jane for the win here!

Seeing as Laura was Steven's beard for a number of years... yes, you'd be very right.
Well Divine did it the best, obviously.
