Greg Nobile and Seaview clearly don't think we're headed to a recession with these ticket prices...

Could it be that the stage is very high or there is some prop that will block the actor? Although, nothing on the ticket receipt indicates that the view is restricted. Maybe it's just few affordable tickets that were made available during the pre-sale to the first people who booked. I'll be in the seat A2 during very early previews, will report if there's a reason for much lower ticket price.

It looks like a few more $87 seats were released this morning for some performance as part of the general sale if anyone is still looking for a more affordable option!
I messed up and purchased a ticket for me for 7/19 and for my partner for 7/20. I need to exchange one of those tickets. Doesn’t matter which - I can’t make either but he can make either work. What would the best thing to do? I guess I’ll email customer service…

This definitely isn't selling as fast as they thought it would at those prices

I guess they opened up some more seats. I was able to get two seats in Row B for $129 each. I like that Seaview is scheduling several Thursday 5pm shows. I was able to link up Angry Alan with Trophy Boys on 7/10 for a double header that day.
Just got the last $129 seat for Thurs June 5 at 5 pm.

this is going to be a hot ticket......i wonder if there are plans to move uptowwn?
You mean… East? It’s already in Midtown. But it’s also a tiny theater compared to Broadway. I think it’ll depend on reviews and word of mouth.
For those who've seen it...
How's the renovated theatre space look? I saw a photo of the house from tech and it appears the seating structure is the same as the Kiser within the auditorium.
Nobody’s seen it yet???

So, the renovated space looks great, and they now have a wonderful bar area. But, I've always loved the space and theater, so I was happy to see it improved.
Angry Alan is a fictional surrogate for despicable men like Jordan Peterson, Joe Rogan, Andrew Tate, etc and the "men's rights movement" bull**** that has been prevalent for almost a decade now. The notion that white, straight, males are somehow becoming a minority in this country (LOLZ), the irrational fear and all the toxicity surrounding that is explored. This won’t be for everyone, but if you’re someone who follows politics and have been observing the brainwashing of younger males since 45 back in 2017, then you will find this fascinating. A man was legit wearing a black on black MAGA hat (so subtle my guy!) so I thought he was a plant. I only noticed him because John was talking right next to me in the left aisle for a few minutes and it was so jarring given the subject. This play flies by and it was a gut-punch 85 minute thriller for me.
And that ending? Absolutely f*cking terrifying.

Curious if they installed new seats or are the orange ones still there?
Melissa, while they might have made them slightly more comfortable, the orange color remains :)

Brilliiant piece, important and timely! Great direction and a terrific performance.
Feel like it’s so quiet but you’ve all inspired me to snag a ticket thanks!
I liked this too, albeit a bit less than the posts above. Krasinski is thankfully not another casualty of the screen-to-stage transition. This is a very ballsy piece for him to lead on a lot of levels and he acquits himself quite well.
I must admit, I was wondering where the play was "going" during act one, but thankfully the show gets stronger and more thorny as it unravels. The third act certainly packs a wallop.
The seats are the exact same as they were when the venue was owned by 2ST (incredibly uncomfortable).
Apparently they lowered the prices. Lots of $87 tickets throughout the run and even some $69 tickets here and there.
Looks like a lot of the $87 are wheelchair seats? What's the deal with those? Like if I book it....am I a jerk?

What are you talking about? There are scattered tickets available for almost every performance including right after the Tonys.

Of the several shows with big Hollywood stars that I've seen in the last couple of seasons, I found Angry Alan the most consistently successful. Penelope Skinner creates a complex, plausible character; Krasinski does a great job portraying him; and Sam Gold keeps the whole thing moving at a good pace.
Saw this tonight and thought it was magnificent with Krasinski making one hell of a return to the NY stage. I’m happy to have a show discussing these issues because, whether you think they’re valid feelings for some men/boys to have or not, there’s a lot of them exploring that anger and it led to a majority of young white men who voted Biden in 2020, leaving the Democratic Party to vote for Shltler last year. Luckily, the Dems are starting to recognize that they need to address these guys and their (perceived or not) concerns.
But aside from that, its just a damn good and solid play with one hell of an emotional wallop in the end.
And bonus tonight, Amal Clooney and her husband were there!
