Hi. Bring her back to Broadway in the inevitable transfer and you can have all my money that I was already going to give to this show anyway.
I immediately thought of her doing it on Broadway, when I saw this news. I think it’s perfect casting for that role.

Or, dare you say... f**king perfect! Cannot wait to hear reports on her Angelique.
So thrilled to hear she's coming back to theatre, I was really worried she'd be stuck singing This Is Me until her 80s. While I'm sure the song has been the biggest break of her, she had a nice run on Broadway and I think we all miss her.
She seems to have a lot more notoriety in the UK for some reason.
Well here she is. Sounds great, although she could kick it up a bit towards the end.
Did anyone else watch that National Lottery show? It was great but there was an interview with Keala where she had a (very good) British accent which was bizarre. It wasn’t that she was trying to be funny or anything she was just speaking normally and all of a sudden is British.
It was odd.

The album was HUGE in the UK.
Greatest Showman is longest-reigning number one soundtrack in 50 years in the UK.

She's also in the London production of Sister Act this summer
I’m guessing she moved over there, with both these shows and the tv show she’s in.

Her father is British so she’ll have grown up around the accent and I assume she has British Citizenship. She’s leading a detective TV show where she uses a British accent and it’s shockingly good, especially as I’ve seen her in interviews in New Zealand and Australia where she uses a flawless Kiwi accent (which will have come from her mother). The way she can flip between three different accents is incredible. She’s a real chameleon and I hope she gets a project worthy of her talents.
Just odd she's joining the Sister Act revival. Are there no roles for her on Broadway currently?

With her new TV show, and joining two separate West End shows it seems that maybe the UK is just her focus. There were still Broadway roles available for Stritch when she hightailed it to London. Sometimes people just want something different, or have other priorities.

I noticed a few years ago particularly with Lea Salonga and Willemijn Verkaik would change their accents during press or other interview events depending on where they were. I think it’s pretty strange.
Kind of a thankless role for her in Sister Act, no?
A Playbill post just popped up in my feed announcing that she is also doing "Sister Act" in London.

Curious to see if Settle eventually comes back to Broadway with her Angelique.
As far as I know, MTL is not making the transfer.
Well, I was really excited to see her in this, but it looks like I’ll be seeing her in Sister Act instead (and still seeing &J, this is the fourth time I’ve had to reschedule this trip and it’s been on my list the whole time).

Interesting. I'm curious who they get to play Juliet then. Have there been any rumblings or speculation on who''s doing it on Broadway?
