Yerin Ha is having quite the moment right now, so this casting is excellent. I have heard nothing but good things about this show, so this is truly exciting it's coming to Brooklyn.

Hard to imagine anything could top seeing Cate Blanchett, Isabelle Huppert, and Elizabeth Debicki do it years ago. What a privilege that was. But I will definitely be seeing this production, looking forward to this for sure.

Saw it at Donmar this Fall.  Never had seen or read THE MAIDS so had almost no clue what I was walking into.  This is Theatrical Excellence.  Acting, set design, projections, direction.  Get a ticket - this is a must see.

While it’s a play that’s done often, I’ve somehow managed to never see or even read it, but I just feel like I’d love it. I’m interested to see this one.

This needs to be done for every theatre production.

Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian

As you walk out, take a left and there is a courtyard. Walk to the back and there is a stage door.

When I went for Anna Christie, we were the only ones there and were able to have a lovely conversation with Michelle Williams.

I thought this was pretty fantastic. Phia Saban absolutely blew me away. She is a very gifted actress. I think she will have an excellent career.

Has anyone else seen it?

Y'all help me out. Wasn't the maids' story also adapted into another play called "My Sister in this House?"

"Do you know ChrisLovesShows?" "Yes. Why, yes he does!"

Which was adapted into the very good film Sister, My Sister, which was on Tubi not long ago.

For those that have seen this and Dorian Gray, I wasn't a huge fan of Dorian Gray because the over-use of screens made it feel less theater-y to me, especially with the prerecorded scenes.  How much of the tech stuff does Williams use in this show?  The play itself is of interest to me but I'd rather not go to another show where I watch half of the scenes just playing out on screens.

It's nothing like the use in Dorian Gray. You should definitely go.
