I don't think I've ever seen a show generate less publicity. Where's their advertising crew? All I've seen about this show is the literal marquee outside the JEJ, and it's about cancer and marriage. Couldn't be less engaging if they tried.

Don't blame the agencies. Yes, the key art and advertising strategy is terrible, but that all stems from the lead producer, Daryl Roth. If a producer has bad instincts, and if enough advertising dollars haven't been allocated, there's nothing an agency can do to save a show.
Now would be the PERFECT time for Archie Panjabi to release a scathing memoir about her experiences with Julianna Margulies on the set of The Good Wife.
In our millions, in our billions, we are most powerful when we stand together. TW4C unwaveringly joins the worldwide masses, for we know our liberation is inseparably bound.

I can't believe there have already been two seasons of Ryan Murphy's Feud, and neither was about this.
Saw the matinee Thursday. Surprisingly enjoyed it a lot - front row rush for $45. Thought Julianna Margulies was wonderful. I described the play to a friend as being "utterly charming whilst kinda depressing" - but I thought it all came together quite well.
The Mezz and Balcony were open but damn they were nearly empty (maybe 15 people in the balcony?), although the Orch was pretty full.
I was at today's matinee, mezz about half full. Honestly wasn't expecting much given the meh response from critics and this board, but I really enjoyed it. Julianna and Peter are wonderful, cute dogs too.
The stealth MVPs, however, are Kate Macluggage and Peter Francis James. I'm surprised the Times, Theater Mania etc hasn't followed them backstage during a show because I'd love to know they execute those quick changes (PFJ said at stage door seven people are involved). Really impressive staging by Stro and great work from both performers
a rom-com light on the com, and heavy on the cancer ward. Delia Ephron is a fantastic writer so why wasnt this all that funny? Julianna Marguiles is a fantastic actress, with a warmth and sincerity to her that is truly special- so why was she so awkward and stilted?
Peter Gallagher wasnt all that remarkable but he was so comfortable in his character's skin that it only made Marguiles seem even less so. Dont get me wrong- once it came time to emote and "act" she was better than good but the first 30 minutes of cute/perky dialogue and explanatory introductions to the various characters--she just seemed miscast.
Speaking of the various characters (again, mostly not funny, few adding anything) it would delight me if Peter Francis James were remembered come awards season, although I know unlikely. If awards are meant to recognize special performance moments, then lets: he invents characters and laughs out of glances and one-liners throughout the night. Kate McCluggage is no slouch either, but James really elevates.
The orchestra was 3/4 full and very appreciative. TDF put us center rear orchestra but there are no bad seats downstairs.
