I went on Sunday and Cara Cooper was Serena. Not sure if that means she's on for the week or not. Maybe Cara does half the week and Becky does the second half?

Sunday was Cara Cooper's last day, so I assume if TJE isn't back then Becky and the new swing Tiffany will split it. If Tiffany isn't ready, maybe Becky will just go on.
Aw! Wow. Thats awesome. I'm glad I got to see her again then. I love Cara, she's so sweet and so fun. I noticed a group of what appeared to be friends of hers jump up during curtain call, but I didn't think much of it. Wow, wonder whats next for her?

I've heard the new swing is fierce, but from waht I hear, Tracy was attempting to come back starting this week..
Yeah the new swing Tiffany Engen is *fierce,* she was on for Becky the last time I was at Blonde, awesome voice...glad to hear TJE is possibly coming back this week!
And have I missed it, or do we know yet who is taking over for Kate/Chutney when Kate leaves?
Is this the same Tiffany Engen that was one of the twins on the Corny Collins council in the "Hairspray" movie?
Yep, apparently it is.
And Kate is going to be in Steel Magnolias at Paper Mill which runs for about a month starting March 9. I wasn't sure if she was leaving the show for good, though.
Kate's new replacement is Stephanie Fittro. She was recently in the Hairspray tour and understudied Penny and Female Authority. She's really nice and I'm so excited for her to come to LB. Updated On: 2/12/08 at 03:51 PM
I saw Tiffany Engen go on as Serena tonight. This woman is F-I-E-R-C-E! She dances wonderfully, has such a pretty and soulful voice, and was great in the part.
Tiffany graduated from my school and teaches dance reviews I've attended so it was awesome to see her do her thing on stage. Her twin sister is currently in 'Hairspray'. I'm pretty sure I've seen her go on as every female track there is! Both women are extremely talented.
Thanks for the Tiffany review, I am so excited to check out her Serena!
fyi the Warner u/s info for Richard Blake's vacation next week:
Matthew Risch will be playing the role of Warner in LEGALLY BLONDE from Monday, February 18 through Sunday, February 24 (this week BLONDE has shows on Monday and Tuesday, none on Wednesday). broadwayunderstudies.com
I'm kinda bummed at that news Anakela. Jason Gillman was my first Warner and I was really hoping they'd give him a couple of days since Richard is hardly ever out. Oh well, good for Risch.
winter_sky, this information should make you happy then.
BroadwayUnderstudies is wrong in their information. I spoke with Matthew Risch today and he corrected me and said that Richard's vacation is being split up between him and Jason Gillman . Jason Gillman will be on tomorrow (Sunday 12/17) for both shows as well as next Thursday and Friday. Matthew will be on Monday and Tuesda y and next Sat and Sun :) Hope that helps!

carymetorent, is there any confirmation as to who is playing Elle at the March 2 shows? BroadwayUnderstudies lists Becky Gulsvig as being on through Saturday, and no one for those Sunday shows. If Haven Burton is going on, I'd like to see the show that day.
^ fyi I don't know that it's been confirmed online anywhere yet that Haven will be Elle on the 2nd, but I think that is just what is being inferred by the lack of Becky going on on the 2nd? But, carymetorent2 knows more about Blonde than I do :) so she would know if it's been officially confirmed yet or not.
Haven!Elle will be fun, but right now I just want to know when Michelle Kittrell will be going on as Brooke again, as I still need to see that. That, and Andy!Callahan again.
