According to ibdb, Casey Leigh Thompson will be joining the company as a swing from April 23-May 4. Anyone heard anything about this? I'm assuming she'll be covering Beth's track.
Also according to ibdb, Haven's last day is May 11th.
for those who haven't seen them both brooke understudies have posted pictures in costume Beth Curry

there good thanks for them. they both look pretty. haven is leaving legally blonde and annaleigh is leaving wicked to go to chicago. the current margot and orginal margot are leaving th same day so sad.
Beth looks different in every wig. It took me 3204 years to realize that the court stenographer and the sorority girl who slides down the pole was the same person, haha. Isn’t Beth also the understudy for Pilar and Margot? Hm… has Asmeret ever been out? I’d never heard of someone else going on as Pilar.

^May 11th is officially my goodbye day to 3 of my favorite performers from their current shows. After Annaleigh’s last in Wicked, I may have to go to the 7pm show of LB to see Haven, and then fly to LA to see Megan Hilty’s last in Wicked LA, lol – sorry off-topic.
I love Pilar's character really I do, and I don't know about Kitty, but Beth is just not suited to fit that role in my opinion. She did with it what she could - but like Pilar has the type of attitude that like Haven has, or even the woman who does the Laker Girls lines. Pilar is a really strong personality- and needs to be done by someone who can back it up.
It pains me to say it because I think Beth is adorable usually - but it was pretty awful. I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt that it was her first time taking over and she didn't have the chance to do with it what she could have.
I sat 2nd row center this past Saturday and was able to look up the pole. It was a guy in the green mask (not sure who) and saw the girl's skirt as she waited to slide down.
I'm not trying to sound in any way racist, but how flat do some of Pilar's lines land when she is played by a white actress? Particularly her lines in Positive
