I would not byut a ticket to see it again if Beyonce was in it. And I like her. Lillias is like our theatrical Beyonce, if you will, and I would buy a ticket to see her in this or any thing else. And have JMO

Not really a teaser. I want a glimpse of her singing something.

T. left the show on Sunday, correct? Who's playing Hermes this week before Lillias starts next week?

Apparently, according to the Hadestown Instagram, T. Oliver Reid is actually staying until this Sunday, the 11th.

I saw Shields on Bway post Tony win and saw Levi on tour.. having a Hermes who can SANG to me, made all the difference. I hated the show on Broadway and loved it on tour.

Who’s seeing Lillias’s first performance tonight?

Did anyone see her tonight? Twitter is raving about her performance.

I was there last night, and I thought it was a warm, soulful performance with great vocals, but she definitely needs some time to settle in. I hadn't seen the show since 2019, so I didn't remember the majority of Hermes' dialogue, but her delivery sounded very hesitant to me, and all night I had the feeling she was on the verge of dropping lines. Even still, she's a force on that stage, and she brings a great energy to the show, not too unlike "Mama Morton" in Chicago. You can tell the rest of the cast is thrilled to have her there, as well.

I would LOVE to hear audio of her "Road to Hell".

I cant wait to see her but really cant sit through Reeve Carney again.

My thoughts exactly.

Reeve Carney is one of the main reasons I want to see it again. I have just been waiting for the new Hermes.

I've never understood the hate for Reeve. I adored his characterization and singing voice the first time I saw it 3 1/2 years ago, and I loved him just as much last night. To me, he's the heart of the show, and it's his songs that move me most.

I sat through Jordan Dobson, trust me, Reeve is 100 times better.

I never said or inferred the word hate. His performance is totally different then it was when the show first opened and not for the better.

I kept hoping that Damon Duanno would return to the role in this version of the show. But at this rate, it looks like Carney will probably see out the eventual end of the run.

I was talking about multiple reactions over the years, not yours specifically.

A friend of mine who works front of house just messaged me and said that Lillias already seems more confident than last night.
