And in other Little Shop news, cutie patootie Claybourne Elder will join the cast as Orin Scrivello, DDS. Starts May 24 -- I'd love to see him cut loose and flex his zany comedic muscles. (Which... I'm assuming he has.)

Caught the latest cast of this one. This production is, in my opinion, a perfect production of a perfect show. I'm hard pressed to find anything I'd change about it, and I'm always delighted to revisit this one.
This is a solid enough cast, but Nikki M James is the standout of the night. It's the best she's maybe ever sounded, she looks stunning, and she's acting her face off. A truly fantastic Audrey. Jordan is.. fine. As somebody who loved his Orpheus (he's the definitive interpretation to me), I don't think this is his best work. Claybourne is also fine -- it's early for him, so I won't say too much about him; he's funny and needs to grow. Reg is maybe the definitive Mushnik for me. I've seen him once before and he's somehow even better now. He's perfect and the standard all Mushniks of this production should/will be held to for me. Overall, it's never a bad time at this Little Shop.

FYI I contacted the box office about the length of the run and they replied
"Hello,
At this time, the producers have not informed us of an end-date for Betsy and Ethan's run. Typically, previous lead casts have been in the show for about 3 months. Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to guarantee that they would still be in their run come November. However, you are welcome to check back in a couple of months, and we may have a better idea!"

Telecharge has some dates to watch out for:
Betsy Wolfe will not perform the role of Audrey on: July 28-29 or August 28-Sept 6.
Ethan Slater will not perform the role of Seymour on: August 16-23 or Sunday evenings Sept 13,20, Oct 4.

Seems like they'll be gone by early October? Betsy isn't listed as being out on October 18th and she's obviously going to be at the Falsettos concert

Are they doing a cast recording? Looks like they were in the recording studio this week.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

FYI, I reached out again because of the Falsettos concert thing I mentioned before. Sounds like still no planned end date
"We still have not heard anything definite about the end of their runs. However, the latest possible pre-scheduled out we have for either of them is October 4th. After that, we can not guarantee that they are scheduled to be in. Sometimes actors extend their contracts, which is why no end-date has been announced, but it is just too early to know. "

There aren't any tickets to be found under $80 when they are both in, right? I keep getting served a social media ad to see them for $51, but there are no such tickets to be found.
