"Actually, no understudy for Debbie. It was Ashley and she kis the original. I thought it was odd how she was on the understudy board playing the role she originated. Is the playbill different now, with someone else listed as Debbie?"
Ashley took a couple weeks off to get married so her name was removed from the playbill. If she came back and they didnt print up new playbills yet, it would make sense for her name to be on the understudy board since the playbill would list Joanne Manning as Debbie. So even though Ashley is the original, she'd be different then what's currently listed in the playbill.

"Wonder" is on the 2nd demo and it's sung by Ally Mauzy (sp?). She was cast as the lead in some early readings.
And the cast will be appearing tomorrow, Thursday July 27th, at "Broadway in Bryant Park" from 12:35 to 12:50p. They'll be performing "Wedding Day", "Grow Old With You" and "Right In Front of Your Eyes."

Because I have the demos and I'm nice...or possibly because I have too much time...I transcribed "Wonder" for whoever it was that wanted it. The words should all be right, but my placement with where I hit "enter"...eh, I don't know. I'm not good at figuring out where I should and shouldn't. Anyway, here it is:
Packed up my whole life,
Moved without a thought.
Drove throughout the night,
Left more than I brought.
Now we’re finally close,
Nothing’s in the way
But you get further every day.
And I wonder
What am I supposed to do?
I wonder why I’m so wrapped up in you.
And why can’t I find a way to bring us back
To who we used to be?
I wonder is it me?
Got a brand new job,
Made some brand new friends.
Am I better off?
Well, it all depends.
My world could turn around
With just a word from you.
You keep fading out of view.
So I wonder
Is there something I should say
I wonder am I pushing you away?
And why can’t we just return
To the life that both of us once knew?
I wonder is it you?
But I tell myself to just slow down.
Tell myself that things will turn out fine.
You’re everything I’ve ever wanted,
Everything but mine.
So I wonder
Do I just collect the days?
And wonder if moving closer ever pays?
And why are there no more reasons,
No more clues left to discuss?
And I wonder is it simply us?

I would do Right On Time, but ... I'm lazy. Sorry.
And I might be more than a little sad that Stephen (and apparently Laura) are doing Bryant Park tomorrow, at least according to a Playbill.com article. Sigh! I'm never going to get to hear Kevin as Robbie anytime soon, I swear. :p

I'm not going, no. But I have friends who are and were already planning on recording it, so no worries there.

FYI, at tonight's show:
Tina was on for Laura.
Eric Lujuan Summers was on for Kevin.
Kern played the role of Mookie and all of David Josefsberg roles.

LMAO. Where the hell is the other swing?! Kern is going to be friggin' schizophrenic by the time he's done with this show, I swear.

I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride.
I love you because I know no other way than this.

But it's up to us to follow through

I just have to randomly mention that apparently Tina (and this is what she said to a friend of mine) has been getting a lot of e-mail asking when she's going on with Kevin.
This makes me giggly. I'm really hoping to see her and Kevin on together in September.. that'd be awesome!
