Alright gays, who do you want to see in this? Is there anyone that would get you to pay for this if you heard they were cast? Curious as to who we should expect, and who we should hope for! Just give me Derek Klena and Jeremy Pope and Id be a happy fella :)

Timothy Hughes if he wasnt in Hadestown...
Apparently they're casting unknowns for the ensemble. I hope it's a good diverse mix of guys.

I forget where I read it/heard it from. But from what I've gathered, they had a hard time getting an ample number of people to the auditions.
I mean, I have a few good suggestions if they're having trouble...

I'd be happy to see some Broadway Bares regulars in this. Joshua Buscher, Mark Mackillop, Andy Mills, Adam Perry, Daniel Robinson, Brandon Rubendall, and Charlie Williams would all be fine choices.

Does anyone know whether Joe Manganiello can sing (or does it even matter)?
Ramin Karimloo certainly has the requisite beef, but I can't imagine him having any interest in this.
I agree that Timothy Hughes would be good, and Claybourne Elder would also get my attention. Oh, and Paul Schaefer from Phantom.

Omg yaasssss Derek. Never seen Corey shirtless but Im sure he's quite the eye candy. Also, since it is a show, both are also super talented performers so Id be happy. I though Cott was attached to the WSS revival, or am I just thinking that?

Corey Cott is adorable, but he's a relatively slight guy. He'd have to put in some intensive gym time to achieve the necessary mass for this show.

The problem they're having is this is a MUSICAL. And rock/pop musical at that. Sure these guys are all hotties, but can they sing at that level 8x a week and make it interesting and tell a story? They're all great in an ensemble, but as a lead? I don't know.

I don't know the movie that well. Is there supposed to be an ensemble or are they all lead/supporting roles? I was under the impression that there are less than 10 guys working at this club. I would guess the ensemble would be female characters to fill out the crowd, unless the audience is supposed to mainly stand in for that. No men in the audience because for a movie about male strippers, it's weirdly heteronormative.
