I think you're right! I totally forgot. Anyway, she was a wonderful Regina and I hope she gets bumped up to principal after Taylor leaves. 

I would love for Ashley to cover Cady she would be amazing in that part! I think they'll have Tee cover Karen as I don't see her as Regina.

Karen? Why not give Ashley that track instead of having Tee cover so many characters (all of whom are VERY different)?

I’m sorry what I said wasn’t clear at all. I meant that they could have the understudy going on for Gretchen because they need her to standby for Janis.

@amaliewormwood, I totally agree. I've seen some shows with understudies & can't imagine anyone else playing the role. In this situation though, I just want to give her the info to make the decision beforehand, bc it's a birthday presents , and Barrett is def who she couldn't wait to see!

Looks like this past weekend, all 3 Plastics AND Cady were understudies! (I may be wrong about Erika missing a show, but the picture on their Instagram Stories didn't look like Erika).

Additionally, Tee just posted on her Story that she's doing a few Janice's for the first half of this week. Assuming Barrett is out, and a second understudy will do the second half of the week.

Earlier in the summer people were lining up at like 11pm the night before but if last week is any indication than 8am should be fine for tomorrow I think

Tee did one show as Cady this past weekend, I believe.

Also, Barrett is out this entire week. Tee will do the first half (not sure if that includes Friday) while Gianna Yanelli will do the weekend.

Saw Mean Girls this evening and Becca Peterson was on as Regina. I am not going to rip her apart, but her notes in "Till Someone Gets Hurt" and "World Burn" was able to make my dog 35 miles away squeal.

People were asking about Riza. For the last two weeks vacation swing Ixchel Cueller was on for Riza. Tonight Ixchel is officially in the playbill in Riza's track and as an understudy for Janis. A friend of mine very close to the show said that Ixchel will have her first Janis understudy rehearsal this coming week.

Just wanted to pass along the info!

Totally agree, and she has a good attendance record. Every time I see Taylor sing those songs, I am amazed on how clean they are. I saw Ashley De La Rosa, and she is pretty great as well.

I’m genuinely curious; I’ve seen the show 4 times in the last two months and of those 4 performances Barrett was only on once. I saw Gianna twice and Tee once. What is her track record like? I understand everyone is human but it *appears* she missed a large amount of performances since the show opened.

Calm down, it's not just about being human- and three in 2 months isn't a huge number.  She is a working actress, Ashley Park has also been out for filming and such, Kate was just on vacay, and Taylor is on her second vacay currently- they were all there all Summer- they've honestly had great track records to this point.  When Kerry left she was the only cast member without an absence to that point.  The following of this show is really starting to become obnoxious, other shows have other performers who also miss, I don't get why the spotlight is shining so brightly on this cast with that.  We all need to take a breath^^^ this isn't necessarily entirely aimed at the previous post, but Barrett in particular takes a lot of crap for whatever happened in the past, just let her work speak for itself and let her live her life- if you've seen the show 4 times, you know it's not an easy sing.

^^ Which is why I said, it wasn't entirely aimed at you- I was wrong to make a snap judgement about your motive re: Barrett so I apologize- she just seems to take so much crap from fans of this show. We also have 3 different understudy threads for Mean Girls, which seems overkill- just arrive at the theatre and enjoy people! Keep enjoying Mean Girls- it's a personal fave of mine too- and luckily I've seen it twice with no understudies, but it seems the talent pool is deep here so no matter who you get you're in good hands.

I know Barrett has been having lots of voice problems recently, you can tell on her broadwaybox cover of defying gravity.
