How thrilling! I didn’t know much about their career outside of Hacks (which they are fabulous in) - wiki says he was part of the Chicago company of Hamilton and performed as James Baldwin at the Vineyard in 2022. He also voiced Audrey II in a Philadelphia production of LSOH in 2014…I would love to see his theater work continue after this!

I am big. It’s the REVIVALS that got small.

Last time I recall seeing her was in THE COLUMNIST opposite John Lithgow…at the same theatre.

Re: Anika - this feels like a 1:1 exchange for me. I was excited for Renee and I’ll be just as excited for Anika.

Obviously we don't have a right to Ms. Burke's personal information, but it's extremely odd the production never publicly acknowledged that she left the show, for all intents and purposes. Did Sophie Hayden end up giving as many or more performances?

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body
