Except Hannah has made it very clear she's more interested in doing plays than musicals going forward. She's said on multiple occasions that she actually doesn't love singing and Maria doesn't seem the sort of role she'd go for given all that she's said in her interviews I've read and watched.

I mean she is in the middle of campaigning for a Tony for RAGTIME and maybe wants to shut down all rumours of N2N (true or not) to lock in a win for Mother. I think any strategic and smart move would be to shut down talk of a potential role that has major buzz, but isn’t confirmed.

The year is 2060. A decrepit Caissie Levy is still insisting the Next to Normal transfer isn't happening, but I'm certain she's just playing a canny game to help her win her 6th Tony.

I get that Levy isn’t going to confirm a production that hasn’t been announced and doesn’t want to encourage anyone not to vote for her now so they can give her a Tony later - when Levy didn’t win an Olivier to an actress in a Jamie Lloyd production.
Levy wants to win a Tony now for her current work, not give Tony voters an excuse to vote for her later. And actors do have a history of denying that they will be in rumored show that hasn’t been announced. Levy might just be doing a fine acting job.
But if so, she is very committed to the bit.

I mean going out of her way to reply to fans online seems a bit extreme if it is indeed happening. I’m going to take her for her word that it isn’t. Even though I reallllllly wish it was.

I told y'all this wasn't happening but no one ever wants to believe my sources. Oh well.

Brilliant reporting by BWW- it apparently starred ‘jack White’ in London… who knew?!

It is entirely possible that you have impeccable sources, but the problem is that others claim they have them but certainly do not, and we have no way of telling the difference between anonymous posters from each of these two groups.

Sweaty Testicle is saying that a different production of N2N unrelated to the West End version is coming starring Pink and her daughter… Nepo To Normal?
This is a huge bummer if true. Can’t imagine it approaches the brilliance of the London production/cast.

This sounds depressingly plausible. The worst part is that a revival with Pink is probably more marketable for all the obvious reasons.
I enjoyed Pink as a Tony Awards host and thought a Broadway transition made sense, especially as I quickly scan that the daughter has theater ambitions.
But sorry. I have no interest in this, mostly because I would resent losing the opportunity to see most of the London cast in person - even if that wasn’t realistic for whatever reason. I would be happy to see Pink on Broadway. Just not in this show at this time.

I know it’s easy for me to say because I saw the show at the donmar and west end live 10 times lol, including opening night. But Pink was fabulous on the Tony Awards and needs a vehicle. The London production was filmed. Out with the old and in with the new I say.

Most any other show, I’d be excited about Pink being on bway. But this specific show requires next level acting, otherwise it falls apart very quickly.

At the height of Meryl in every movie musical, I used to say I wanted a Next to Normal film with a Nicole Kidman/Kate Winslet type with the singing dubbed by Pink. Cast all of the roles that way with famous vocalists dubbing respected actors. Make the dubbing a marketing ploy like Les Mis did with the live singing. I'd prefer to get to experience the Cassie Levy production live, but I can't say I'm not intrigued.

I'm sorry I have a really hard time believing that someone looked at a 15 year old with zero professional experience and said, "Oh yeah, she can handle performing Natalie 8 times a week..."
This is way too far fetched, but I guess people have sunk money into wackier things.

I don’t see pink doing this at all maybe a radio city music hall concert …I do picture her in lost boys

To add to the Pinkx2 rumor is this comment on the UK board:
"Julie Taymor or David Cromer is directing this apparently."
Posted: 6/16/26 at 11:49am
Two wildly different directors.

I am wondering if this rumour is a concert? It makes absolutely zero sense, but like others have said, crazier things have happened.

After Pink performed at the Tonys twitter was awash with people saying she should play Diana in Next To Normal. I find it interesting that this person has suddenly popped up with another trending "reveal" shortly after the previous one, which, let's be honest, was playing the probabilities like a psychic asking if anyone knows a John, has lost steam.

Jessie Buckley for the film version PLEASE.

Not for nothing, Pink proved a lot of naysayers wrong with her Tonys performance and her daughter has a beautiful voice. What would be especially exciting is if it does happen and it turns out Pink is a top tier actress on top of her voice. Who knows. It's a meaty role and ambitious for someone to take on as their Broadway debut, but Nicole Scherzinger was counted out before Sunset started performances in London. Weirder things have happened...and delivered.

If she can pull through on the acting, it's actually great casting. She's very right for the role and would sing the hell out of the score.
