"Thou Shalt Not"
"Hurly Burly" (God Bless Elizabeth Berkley!)
"The Full Monty"
the full monty..... they really go all the way
if u sit it in orchestra u are blinded by the bright light and can't see the nudity
if u sit in the mezz/balcony ....the light doesnt blind u... but u are kind of far away to see much ... best to bring the binoculars just in case
Well besides Naked Boys Singing...
Wasn't Jennifer Tilly nude for a bit in The Women?
"I think I saw a bit of flying monkey ass last time I was at wicked...."
Haha...those costumes are too funny.
Julius Cesear- The Emperor himself was butt naked for a moment.
Definitely didn't need to see that much of Stanley and his little "Tucci"--especially since he was walking around/lying around that way for like the first fifteen minutes of the show! And I was in the balcony, so I had an aerial shot.
Also, didn't see it, but Jude Law had a full frontal moment when he comes out of the bathtub in "Indiscretions."
In Color Purple all of the female dancers have sheer tops you can see right through during African Homelands. I must say Shug wears a very intresting "body suit".

what's up with the color purple nudity? didn't know that.
Yeah the lighting Effect on Shug is cool. I gasped and thought OMG she's naked! Then she moved slightly in one direction, and I saw the line of the body suit.
Thou Shalt Not? I've blocked that so far out of my mind that I don't even remember nudity from it. Who was it? Kate Levering?
"what's up with the color purple nudity? didn't know that"
well, in the case of the Africa part it does belong there (they wouldn't be wearing suits and ties). And it also fits for Shug's part.

No, I didnt mean for it to sound like it didn't fit, I mean more along the lines of "how is it used"
"Hair...its usually done completely in the nude."
No, just one scene is done completely nude. that would be a mess. Lol.
Yes we saw all of Ms. Tilly in The Women.
The wolf in the original Broadway production of INTO THE WOODS had a furry endowed penis. When I watched the DVD I noticed it, but I thought I was seeing things. It wasn't until I read a book about Sondheimg's musicals that my suspicion was confirmed. What's up with that?
RentBoy- The Act II opening takes place in Africa, where clothes are not in abundance. So the costumes take this into account, and it is actually very tasteful.
I forget the exact part of the show where Shug was 'naked' but there was a reason for it, and you couldn't really see much (she was wearing a body suit I think)
In response to Into The Woods, I have no idea why the wolf was anatomically correct. Maybe Ann Hould-Ward wanted to amuse herself? To emphasize the sexual nature of "Hello Little Girl?" I find it somewhat off-putting too.
Marin Mazzie in PASSION.
Is it true that Jere Shea was also nude and walking about onstage, but they cut out his bits for the DVD?

You're right...my bad! I apologize for the lack of clarification.
Definitely didnt know Color Purple had nudity...that comes as a bit of a shock.

And how can we forget the current production of THREEPENNY? Not much nudity, only a penis through sheer breifs for a few seconds (you really can't see anything unless you're right in the front), although I can't recall if there are any brests in the brothel scene, although there isn't much clothing.
I was sitting quite close and it looked as though Shug was nude except for a g-string. The lighting was well done but I could still see the line of the g-string around her waist.
It has been explained to me by someone in the show that there is no nudity in the Africa scene. The performers are wearing unitards that are well painted.
