Wacky theory as this sounds, could it be possible that his move to close LBRR early and the money it saved could actually help to subsidize some of the prices here so they could be lower?

It also could be a situation where the producer makes it a package deal to investors which I know happens. In other words, going to an investor and saying if you want in on this one show, you must invest in the other. For Rudin, this is a win/win as he gets a new play up on Broadway as well as a revival. For the investors, they're more likely to get screwed financially especially if neither of them hits. But even in a best case scenario here, LBRR will lose nearly everything and Rudin's high profile shows only return a 10% profit if they're lucky since he spends a ton on traditional advertising. Unless it's to stay in Scott's good graces for something bigger down the road, it's a mystery to me why any sane person would invest in a Rudin production regardless of his bad behavior.

The show's website shows Washington as Young Happy which is obviously not correct. Someone made a big proofreading error. Regardless, looking forward to seeing him on stage again. Loved him in Boys in the Band.

Fordham2015 said: "According to the show's website, Consuelos, Termine, and Green will play Young Biff, Happy, and Bernard respectively. So Abbott, Ahlers, and Washington won't be "playing young" in those scenes as in other productions.

Falahee will be the Biff/Happy cover

I’m not gonna lie, I walked by the Winter Garden recently to see what the signage looked like for this revival and it might be a hot take but I think it looks absolutely atrocious and lazy. I have no idea why they would extend this production when it isn’t even selling that well to begin with

I’m not sure of the original end date, and not sure if this is the same as above. An 8 week extension has been announced.

Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian

I recently bought tickets, and I will say that I did so with great ease. There is a sea of available seating on any given night. The Winter Garden seems like a very large house for an oft-revived play.

The first few performances are sold well but then it starts to drop off, especially in the mezz.

Considering this starts in just two weeks, there's been a surprising lack of publicity. I know Rudin is weird about stuff like press days and peeks into rehearsal, but they've become standard these days for productions and do help generate interest and keep the production in public consciousness.

Agreed. They have enough buzz and name recognition to not arrive DOA but clearly whether it’s a success or not will depend on what happens in the theatre and what people say about it. If this becomes an unmissable event ‘greatest of all time’ type production and performance I think it’ll be a success. If people find it or Nathan Lane mediocre it will probably stagger along to the end or cancel extension but lose a lot of money. I really think it’s just too soon to tell what is about to happen personally.

Give me claws and a hunch, just away from this bunch.

Question for people more familiar with the Winter Garden: Would you consider front row mezzanine for this play? My original inclination was no, because I would prefer to be closer to stage for a play like this. But it’s a little tempting to avoid rake issues in the orchestra. Another option is Row F, side orchestra, for just a little more money.

ETA: Never mind. Row F it is.

Even the rear mezz is close. Theres only maybe 5 rows up there. The only seats that maybe aren’t the best are the far sides of the orchestra. Are you going to buy in advance? My final recommendations for you is Salesman, Wild Party, and the Outsiders. If no to Outsiders, do Heathers or Spelling Bee. Skip Chess, Becky Shaw, and maybe see Oh Mary another time.
response to edit: I’m sure row F is far back enough that it’s a good view.
