I saw Mason in London tonight and thought he was fantastic. Matching Cole in his performance. I was wondering if a British crowd would get it, but it seemed to get the same raucous reaction as in NY. I didn’t notice any clarifying changes to dialogue, but there was a brief voiceover at the start noting that Lincoln was a US president who was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth. Terrific production and performances all around.
The ONLY thing I wish was different about the London production is that Cole would have said something like “This is Judi Dench” to keep with the Blythe Danner bit here.
Julian will be Mary's Teacher on January 27 - Feb. 1.
Also, Hannah's on vacation this week. Jackie Sanders is there through Jinkx's run.

I saw it last weekend with Jinkx, and she was great. This was my first time seeing the show, so I can't compare her performance to anyone else's. But the audience loved every second of it. Her line deliveries and physical comedy were hysterical.

Just posted that Cheyenne Jackson’s last show is now 3 days earlier than planned - January 22nd. Julian Manjerico will be going on January 23rd until February 1st.
Story posted on this site's news section about tour with some of the cities listed. After seeing Suffs in Las Vegas this past fall I really wonder how this will play in some of the huge touring houses.
Will this be at the Pantages in LA? Again that's massive.
I'm reminded of when I saw Avenuee Q on tour years and years ago from the top of the theatre that was used here at that time. It wasn't optimal, but I guess at the time I didn't know any better so it was fine. I guess for people whose only option is seeing this on tour it will be fine.
I'm curious to see who ends up doing the tour? Or will it be similar to the Broadway cast that changes every 2-3 months?

Hannah was on as Mary's Chaperone yesterday and is supposed to go on for both shows today.

Highly accurate and absolutely fantastic. It was a cross between a dowager and a demon, and every comedic bit was wrung out to maximum effect.
One dialogue change I noticed was actually a line they’ve since cut from Broadway, but added back. After the “Don’t Interrupt” bit, they added back Abe’s line “Take the acting lessons, you f*****g moron.”
