Is this the first administration without any of the original cast (in principal roles)? Interested to hear about tonight!

Guessing they did a run through last night to get these pictures? They also did one on Friday in the afternoon w/Jackie Sanders and Sean Forte joining them.

If you are counting the understudies, then you would be correct. (Martin was a late addition to the Broadway cast as an understudy.)
As for tonight - this was not like Jinkx Monsoon’s first show where she was hot and ready out of the gate and everyone else had to catch the speeding train. It was a lot more measured, but nevertheless absolutely hilarious.
Jane, no surprise, fits like a glove into this role. She has the doe-eyed naïveté and the steely grande dame energy in equal measure and deploys it efficiently. She did go up on a couple lines (which unless you know the play, you wouldn’t have caught). I definitely think she has the opportunity to go a little bit broader into the comedy and a little less wink-and-nod fourth wall gazing toward the audience. But even as she works her way into the role further, it’s a not-miss performance.
John-Andrew was not the festering closet case like Conrad or the slick code-switcher like Phillip. He’s very much horny from the outset like Kumail was and has that extra layer of *flair* to his affect that makes his interactions with Martin quite hilarious. He has amazing chemistry with Jane.
Cheyenne definitely came in looking like he fell out of Wicked in those Fiyero pants. He falls squarely between James and Michael in that he is very collected and suave - not very nervy - but then goes for the full queen breakdown during the bar scene (though not as broad as Urie). As always, room to grow but definitely pretty good right out of the gate. Of all the Booths, he is definitely the one I most believe would make Mary go “f***”
Jane’s delivery of “LOUISE WANTS TO RUB ICE CREAM ON HER P***Y” is absolutely priceless and the night was worth it for that alone.
Also, for those who care - I don’t think Jane stage doored last night, but the other 4 did.
Very much concurring with quizking here.
Jane was, unsurprisingly, great and will only improve with time. Same can be said for Cheyenne Jackson and John Andrew Morrison. I'd imagine once they all get more comfortable with the play, the laughs, and each other, it'll be perfection.
Pacing in staged comedies can (and generally does) only get tighter with time, but for now a strong start by this mostly new ensemble.
ETA: Jane really ate that final medley UP.
No surprise here — she was absolutely phenomenal. She really made the role her own, even though it was hard not to see a little bit of Jenna in Mary Todd’s temperamental, wannabe-cabaret-star energy. A perfectly-timed 30 Rock reference brought the house down with sustained applause.
Jane completely chewed the scenery — gloriously unhinged and commanding every moment on stage. The audition scene (her take on the Nurse from Romeo and Juliet) in front of the curtain was a real highlight.
John-Andrew Morrison was terrific as Lincoln — more memorable and delightfully flamboyant than the actor I’d seen previously, with his exasperation getting plenty of laughs.
And Cheyenne Jackson made a charismatic John, sharing fantastic chemistry with both Jane and John-Andrew. His transformation in the bar scene drew huge reactions — the audience was hooting and hollering as his whole demeanor shifted.
Oh, Jane!
Mary fits her like a glove. She knows how to balance playing it straight and when to dip into the unhinged. At times I saw echoes of Cole's Mary (in a good way) and Jane found a few new laughs in unexpected places. I loved her Great Day monologue and just about everything about her performance. I think I may even try to see her again near the end of her run. Just excellent.
Cheyenne is perfectly cast. John-Andrew Morrison is great overall, but I thought was missing some menace when threatening Booth.
Whomever is responsible for casting Oh, Mary! deserves a raise and a Tony.

Where is this confirmed? I have tickets for Oct 26. I was able to see Cole and have since grown to really like Hannah on Tik Tok. Definitely rationalizing with myself so I won’t be too disappointed in missing Jane.

I’ll finally get to see Julian as Mary’s Teacher! Yesssssssssssss.
I saw Jane last night and she did NOT disappoint. I’ll always be amazed how every person to play that role finds a way to totally make it their own - I’ve said it before but it really is a testament to Cole’s brilliant script. And I love how you can tell how much of the audience are REAL fans of Jane/30 Rock, with that one little ad lib during the nurse’s audition. She treats it (rightfully so) as a throwaway line but damn it was funny.
Good news! Jane, JAM, and Cheyenne have all extended!

This is amazing news. I've seen all the Mary's excepty Betty Gilpin and was going to miss Jane by two weeks in December. I already bought tickets for the December trip anyway cause I love the show so much, was sort of hoping for an extension but would gladly see Hannah again, This is wonderful news

Anyone ever had luck changing dates with Audience Rewards?
Jane, John Andrew and Cheyenne were my favorite cast so far. I’ve seen Cole and Betty. Jane was less deranged than Cole or Betty but she made it her own. I loved her interpretation.
When I saw Cole and Betty I had a harder time understanding lines and jokes and the audiences loud laughter was stepping all over the dialogue. That didn’t seem to happen here. The audience was wild for the show and laughed their faces off but they didn’t seem as obnoxious as previous crowds. I caught way more.
John Andrew was the best Lincoln. To me, his affectation and fey moments had me howling. He’s just such a genius. Cheyenne turned on a dime from straight stud to queen and he was sublime. He and John Andrew together were divine.
I was so happy I got to see this new cast. Very blessed
