I bet you there are less than 100 seats sold, it's almost worse than Bad Cinderella's sales. I thought this show could last through January and close New Years' Weekend, but not it's looking like labor day.

Show is on TDF for all dates next week including Saturday matinee and evening, hopefully that helps.

Are they planning a huge ad/promo blitz for Pride? Because if any show could benefit from Pride month in NYC right now, it’d be that one.

Especially when there's a Best Musical Tony nominee that has a lot of similarities and was very well received...

Oh wow. There are probably less than 200 seats sold in a 1600+ seat theatre.
And here I thought seeing the poor sales for Saturday night was a bad omen.
When I was at the stage door on Thursday, the cast were telling us to "tell your friends" - which always means they know they are in deep trouble."
How were Saturday 5/27 bad sales when Ticketmaster showed differently? https://i.ibb.co/LSLgxZT/saturday.png
This is not a show that's selling in advance, clearly.
I truly feel there's people just lurking here to talk BS about this show. if you don't like it then it's great but why being constantly negative about it? There's people with jobs because of this show

The fact that a show employs people should be completely irrelevant to what anyone says about it. Shows are a public product; people can say anything they please (even if it can get tiresome when some just offer the same criticisms repeatedly, which I haven't noticed anyone doing here). To say otherwise is just an attempt to stifle discussion.
That said, the show was up last week, $606,279 vs. $581,658. Not a lot, but it's certainly better than being down.

They've been comping virtually everyone in queer nightlife over the last few weeks. But I doubt it's translating into good word of mouth.

We won the lotto for Sat’s performance and were in the mezz extreme right. It didn’t look sold out, but close to it. But there were a number of seats left on Ticketmaster when I checked Friday morning so I think many people may have hit TKTS. It was a good time for the $40-something we paid. Justin Guarini was shockingly good, and the rest of the cast was also good. But the visuals look so SO cheap. I’ve literally seen school plays that had better costumes and scenery.

I also saw it through the lottery on Saturday night, maybe we were seatmates 😅
I really enjoyed it, it was good campy fun and the cast just made it work so well.

Ryah Nixon posted that she is joining the cast starting today, presumably replacing Ryann Reynolds who is undergoing surgery for her foot/leg injury. I believe that brings the total Broadway debuts among the cast to 15.

Also, just a heads up, they’ve been doing A LOT of rewrites and replacing of songs.
Apparently a whole new number is going into the show tonight (per what Aisha Jackson said at the SD on Saturday night). Don’t know what it is though

I saw this Saturday night and thought it was very clever and a damn good time! The audience was very responsive and relatively full from what I could see. The cast did say at the stage door that a lot of changes were coming this week. I will see this again after it opens- I actually cannot wait to return- but I’m also a huge Britney fan. I didn’t find it to be better than & Juliet, but it’s just as fun and the cast is uniformly excellent.

I caught this again last week after seeing the second preview a couple weeks ago. The sound is definitely better. While the show is still loud, it's no longer blaring. Jennifer Simard is the best part of the show - watching her chew that set to death and sing the hell out of "Toxic" is worth going for. There were some minor changes since the second preview, none of which really helped majorly improve the overall show, though. The Little Girl is now in overalls, the section with Snow White reading about astrophysics from Astrophysics for Dummies has been cut, the princesses in Story's End are now projections instead of up on the risers/platforms, and there is an altered finale.
The show is definitely a good time. While I don't think it's inherently a good or solid show or production, there's no denying it's pure FUN. I'm curious to see what changes they make over the next couple weeks before opening night.

That's interesting to hear that they're doing more changes. I know that's the point of previews, but it feels like lately shows that have out of town tryouts have only made minor changes during the Broadway preview period. I might have to go see this again once it's froze

SPOILER (with a suggestion)
I feel like the moment Cinderella and Snow White both find out Prince Charming is playing them both is a unique opportunity if Charming wants to break out into a rendition of “3”

The Marquis is a massive theater. I don't know if any of the shows that have played there recently were ever at full capacity. I could be wrong. I enjoyed the show. There were some transitions that need tightening but the dancing is incredible and the show is a fun light evening at the theatre.

I saw this last week before my incident with "& Juliet" audience member and I actually enjoyed it. I thought it was fun and the actor playing Cinderella was great. yeah, it needs some tweaks but thought overall it was better than "& Juliet" and the story made more logical sense (for a fairytale that is). I def want to go back and see what has been changed.
While I did enjoy Jennifer Simard greatly, I had wished that her costumes/makeup was brighter and lighter like the rest of the show. The golden tones and black lipstick, while great for a villain didn't exactly seem to work for me. Now if they had put her in the outfits that Carolee wore....<chef's kiss>

Correction to what I posted above--Amy Hillner Larsen is taking over for Ryann Redmond "for a few months." Ryah Nixon would be taking over Amy's track as Goldilocks, then.
If anyone goes tonight or this week, would be very curious to hear what new number has been added. Maybe they have heard the critique that the second act drags with fewer musical numbers?
edited thanks to quizking101's helpful catching my repeated error in conflating Ryann Redmond with Ryan Reynolds, which makes me giggle just typing that.

Ryann Redmond*
Although seeing Ryan Reynolds as the chonky stepsister would have me going back as many times as I did for ASL...
