You married a co-star. What is it like in a two-performer household?
I think that’s different for everybody—at least we’re finding that out. For us, it’s pretty fun. Some of our best times are when we work together. See, I’m trying to shout out to Joe Mantello and David Stone to get her in Wicked. We’ll see what happens.
What part should she play?
C’mon, she should play Elphaba! She’d wail all those songs.
Good answer.
Well, it wouldn’t be the midwife—carry the baby, have one line? Nah.

She definitely would sing the crap out of those songs lol.
He actually sounds like a good husband.
Everyone wants their partner to be their cheerleader and vice versa.
She has an incredible voice and would have been ideal about 10 years ago (yes, I'm aware Wicked wasn't running ten years ago), but is too old now.
She'd be a fierce Diana, but there's no way Andy Karl could sing the role of Dan in a million years. He has trouble with his two songs in Wicked.

I'm going to second what Adam said. Orfeh would be an awesome Diana, and I'd love to hear her version of that score, but there's no way Andy could pull off Dan, as much as I do like him. If the doctor's part weren't so high, maybe there'd be a chance of it being a stretch for him to do it.

it;s kinda awesome that a lead on broadway can barely sing the songs he was hired to sing.
I never even thought of Orfeh as Diana! I love that idea. I think the age thing wouldn't be so bad with Wicked. who knows...

Yeah, that really was too bad about Constantine. Maybe they'll have better luck with his replacement.

How would the role of Elphaba really be determined by age? She's covered in green make-up. Natalie Toro once joked about that, I wish she could be Elphaba!

No, Phyl, but that would be an interesting choice. I just thought Constantine was who massomen was referring to.

^Even though she was covered in green makeup, Ana Gasteyer looked ancient as Elphaba.

That's right. Lets throw Stritchy up in the picker.

Hey, I'm so down with Elanie as Elphaba. I'd shell out big money to see that. And get Angela to play Glinda. You'd have a stellar show.
Throw in Barbara Cook as Morrible and you have yourself a cast. There'd have to be something special in that green elixir...thats for sure!

I think Patti LuPone should play Elphaba to Betty Buckley's Galinda, with Angela Landsbury playing Morrible. I'm sure it would be well-received by all parties involved.
Um, Orfeh would be Glinda cause she's blonde duh and it's gonna be Patti as Elphaba (brown hair you see), Boyd Gaines as the gruff love interest and Laura Benanti as the sist- no wait that's not right.
Orfeh is the only performer ageless enough to truly play Elphaba correctly.
I'm telling you...Orfeh's big role is going to come as Samantha in Sex and the City: the musical

So if Angela plays Morrible will she automatically be nominated for a tony even if Wicked didnt open this season??
