I also said **** it and bought a rear mezz ticket. I've never been to a Broadway opening and I wanted to see the show again, so I figured $46 isn't that bad for both experiences.

I wish I didn't live in MA or someone would volunteer to go with me from home. I have been dying to go to N2N Broadway opening since 2ST. Sadly I doubt I'll make it there.

Oh no, no discussion about opening night tickets! I'm WAY too tempted to buy myself one now... and I really don't have the money. Damn.

I'm glad I don't live close enough to purchase an opening night ticket. Because I would. With or without sufficient funds.

steven22, you're not alone.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

I could be imagining this but was Anthony Rapp involved in N2N at some point as the Dr. and then as asst. director?
He isn't credited on playbill.com in the who who
did he leave the production?

he was with the show at NYMF
and I did just drop 80$ on opening nighet tickets when I'm nearly broke and are already seeing it the next week?
Yes I did.

steven, he was a cast member at NYMF and assistant director at 2ST, but was no longer involved with the show once it moved to Arena Stage.

I wanna get tickets so bad for opening night. I am having the hardest time trying to find someone to go with!
I was just wondering if you get tickets for opening night is it a very formal night? I usually wear nice jeans and a nice top to the theater but I'm assuming you have to dress more formal for an opening night show? Thanks just in case I find someone in time.

Me too, Kad. I lost count on the number of times I've listened to it all the way though. I'm sure my ipod knows, but I'm afraid to look at the number.

It depends on the show, but for n2n I think jeans and a top are just fine! Unless you're a celebrity and are going to be photographed of the red carpet or something, there really isn't any reason to get dressed up any differently.

I wish I lived in NYC because I'd so be buying an opening night ticket and I haven't seen the show since 2ST. The middle of the week, however, is not a great time for me to get time off and head down from Boston. Have fun and I expect to see reviews! :)
