I used to really dislike Sarah Uriarte Berry's voice, but she has grown on me in the past year and now she's one of my favorites. Performers you didn't like but now love I'm also starting to like Audra McDonald ever since I saw her perform on the Tonys this year.

If I didn't like or respond to them, there was a reason.

And if this year's Tonys is what turned you on to Audra, you're in for some amazing discoveries.

For a little while, I didn't like Audra's voice, but I have since learned. re: Performers you didn't like but now love

I absolutely love her now.

I was one who was annoyed at Audra because I wanted the actress from The Lion King to win in 1998, but once I heard Audra I knew it was well deserved. I originally didn't like Julia Murney or Debra Monk, but now I do!

For a while, i had only heard Sherie Rene Scott's voice via the Aida cd, and though i didn't think she was bad, I didnt' really hear anything too special. I then had the fortune of seeing her in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and her voice (live) BLEW ME AWAY. I am now a devoted fan with Little Mermaid tickets on the way!

I'll be completely honest, when I first heard Julia Murney's voice I was a little bit "WTF?!" but now I am compltely in love with her voice.

I'm going to say this and run. . . . . Raul Esparza. *hides*

I have NEVER met Cheyenne Jackson. I have never hung out with him in his dressing room, he did not tweet me, he never bought me a beverage, and he mostly certainly didn't tickle me. . .that is all.

Denis O'Hare
Charlotte D'Amboise

I may not love them but I wasn't even a fan of theirs until recently. I think they're both great.

Sarah Saltzberg and Jose Llana annoyed the hell out of me on the Spelling Bee recording. Then I saw them do it in LA and now I love them both.

I really hated shoshana bean when I first saw her but now she's my favorite actress. I also didn't like julia murney but then I listened to her cd and was like NEVERMIND LOVE YOU. AND brian d'arcy james I didn't like the first time I saw him in DRS but when I saw him the day before closing I LOVED him.

Can, can I have it?

I was not an Audra fan at first. Saw her in "A Raisin in the Sun" and enjoyed her acting. Was just starting to appreciate her voice. I now love her.

I forgot to add Bernadette Peters (it seems like a lifetime ago that I didn't like her). Why the hell I ever did dislike her is beyond me.

For a little while I couldn't stand kerry butler's voice, but now while I wouldn't say I LOVE it, I do really enjoy it.

I for some reason practically hated Audra, I really had no particular reason. But now I LOVE her. She is amazing as a performer and incredibly nice, gracious, and down to earth off stage. I am so happy to have discovered how truly wonderful she is.

Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian

Didn't like Sherie Rene Scott on "The Last 5 Years," but it grew on me. I didn't realize she was Amneris, either, which I had already liked.

Stephanie Mills on "Children of Eden" irked me for awhile, but now I adore her.

I hated Fantasia on Idol, but loved her Tony performance, if that counts?

Still don't understand Julia Murney.

Oh, Sherie Rene Scott and Julia Murney, too. I didn't really like Julia after seeing her in Wicked, in which she was just miscast. Then I got the Lippa's The Wild Party OCR, and loved her on it.

With Sherie, I just thought her voice was boring, but I've grown to like it.

I never understood why Debbie Reynolds had a career, but now I think she's fantastic.
She's developed into a marvelous character actress, as you can tell from In and Out, a rather bad movie she easily steals, and her marvelous performance in Mother.
