Interesting that the production is willing to give Amber the time off she desires for her family. Good on all of them.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

Lana Gordon is amazing! Would love to see her in this once we know her schedule.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
Highly likely she will have a set schedule - which makes sense to able to give Amber's family more stability/time.

I hope they announce which days she'll be out so the audience can schedule accordingly. I hope they do this for all alternates going forward for shows.
when LaBoheme played Broadway there were 3 sets of leads and they had a schedule of which was on for each performance so I would think it could work the same

Do they usually announce those sorts of things?"
I would assume yes? But I’m not too familiar with alternates. The only one of recent I can think of is TINA and the schedule is listed on their website. Lana Gordon starts next week 10/11 so I would check the website in the next few days for updates.

Each show is certainly different in their approach, but typically I've only seen them announce when there is a headliner for a show (i.e. Donna Murphy filling in for Better on scheduled times)
DEH announced the schedule for Ben Platt and Michael Lee Brown. I don't see any schedule for Jordan Fisher on the website but since the show won't reopen for a while it may not be decided.
just made this account to ask about this as well! where would we be able to check for a schedule if they did release it, the hadestown website? i absolutely love the entirety of hadestown, but andre and amber are two cast members who would be a really important part of my experience! im a huge fan of amber's work, so i hope i can get to go on a day that shes there.
I have a ticket to Patrick Page's return show. Selfishly, I hope Amber goes on for that performance, because I love their dynamic as Hades and Persephone. Additionally, Patrick LOVES doing the show with Amber. Their chemistry is amazing. But at the same time, I really would love to see Lana. If she announces her scheduled dates I might try to nab a ticket to see her as well. I imagine she'll be on the same day each week. Maybe a two-show day matinee? Maybe Sunday and Tuesday to give Amber a long weekend, with Monday being the dark day?
