holy ****!!! So we get to the theater around 11:30 and it is an insane MADHOUSE! I have never seen a crowd like this in my life. More than a thousand people easily. On both sides of the street. Camera crews, total insanity. A mob scene.
And my name got called! I could not believe it. I froze for like 10 seconds and it felt like time stopped, hahaha... I had to sign some waiver since they filmed me which I hope means I'm not in the damn movie at any point since I rolled out of bed like a bum.
I took a photo of the crowd to show everyone but I have to wait till I get home to share. Anyone else going??
I'm going to be doing the red carpet photography for BWW but if any other fans will be there it would be nice to meet up.
Here was the crowd outside:

Congrats!!!
That's incredible that you won!
Enjoy the show!
Congratulations!!! That's wonderful. I was getting all misty eyed watching the video hosted by cutie, Adam Kantor. I'm thinking of buying a ticket to the filmed version.

Congrats! For all those going, you NEED to take pictures of crowds and such, and give reviews in full detail. Otherwise, I'll hurt you all electronically. Have a great time!
Are you going to take pictures of the Curtain call?
I just can't believe it! I am still in shock. You all don't understand how many people were there. This is nothing like wicked. I would venture a guess that there were maybe close to two thousand folks there. When we arrived we almost left because we thought it would be absolutely impossible. Cuhrayzeee
NGD I highly doubt that they'll allow any photography, but if they do, I'll try my best for you all!
That's exciting. Hope you have a good time. Gee, maybe this is where everyone was yesterday instead of at Xanadu to get rush tickets. LOL! I did not bother to look down 41st street yesterday to see if there was a huge crowd.
Wow, good for you! Post pics! I am going tonight, I'm so excited!
YAY! Congrats, Pab!! Have fun.
Yeah, I really doubt you will be allowed to photograph anything inside the theater. They make it so clear at Xanadu. Granted, it is a different theater and company who owns the theater, but the ushers were actually telling people that they could get 6 months in jail, plus a $5000 fine for photographing or video taping anything in the theater. They said it was a law of New York, not just theirs, so if you feel like the consequences, do it. :)
I didn't win, but two of my friends did! We got the second 15 pairs. It was crazy, but really fun!

I also won lotto, 5th name called.
I'm still in major shock.
Viola wasn't it a madhouse??! Were you one of those people who screamed and started crying? LOL. I was the silent one who crossed the street with a deer in headlights look.
People started crying? Oh god! I would have loved to see that.

I was the one who fell over/collapsed into the barricade. On camera. My friends screamed (and fortunately caught me). Didn't cry though.
It was a madhouse, but it was more organized than I expected. I was expecting 41st to be closed down and a near-riot to get to cards and to enter.
I heard your name called, cubanpab!
You could have looked a bit more excited!
