lol! foster thats because i was just really shocked and didnt know what to say... i didnt think in a million years i would have won. :) once inside the theater i was more excited.
Still working on being happy for the winners. Sorry. I mean, I'm happy for you, of course. But that's being overwhelmed by my disappointment and sadness.

NGD, i **** two bricks after the shock wore off. When my name got called it was like the movies, where everything slows down and you're kind of like "huh? thats weird... that sounded like my name... oh it was me?? what the ****??!"
once inside i was excited. and once i got back outside and saw monica she was jumping and screaming for joy so then i was really excited and it hit me... crap... i won!!!
WOW!!! Congrats on winning. We saw RENT for the last time this past Thursday. You are going to have an amazing time. Please please share all the details after the show!
I might go up and sit outside. You can kinda hear it if you sit by the doors. You can look for me; I'll be the one staring longingly at everyone going inside.

Not only are you shooting the red carpet for BWW but you're going to be FRONT ROW for the final show action? How are you still alive...? I would have expected your head to have exploded all over W.41st Street by now!
I saw the show yesterday and did not want to fight the crowds today (though I wish I was there with a guaranteed seat). I can't imagine what kind of reception the actors are going to receive tonight.
And who KNOWS what they're going to do during Finale B? I wouldn't be surprised if EVERY surviving and available member of Broadway RENT steps out to sing to the rafters.
HAVE AN AMAZING TIME, PABLO! CONGRATULATIONS ON WINNING! WHAT AN ABSOLUTE F*CKING RUSH!!!
Congrats to those who won the lotto. I will definitely see the theater. I won the lottery the only time I ever tried it for Rent on Tracie's first night, but this is obviously so much more of a rarity. Be sure to report back!
I was there also...and when I got there i would say there were 200 people and all of a sudden i look up from reading my magazine and there are easily 1000 people...OMG!!! After all the names were called since I had come alone i was just in shock that it was really over and I wasn't going...so I just milled around the city for a bit and kept going past the theater.....
Yeah they had one of those like bullhorn things or whatever they are... which actually made it harder to understand. But there were several people so they would say the name and then it would get said loudly by each of the people, standing at a different place down the street so that the entire crowd/line/linecrowd could hear it.

There is still a rather large crowd of people standing outside the Nederlander. I'd say about 100 people are just standing on the other side of the street against some barricades, just waiting for the show to end, or something.
