These sort of productions are typically 12-16 weeks.

It could work with an actor of any race, but if Hal is a white actor, I think it'll bring in a really interesting dynamic with his relationship to Robert (and his attempts to publishhis work after his death) that isn't usually present in the show."
Will Andrew Barth Feldman be available?

Either I am losing it or you are thinking of Jeffrey Wright and Octavia Spencer in Death of a Salesman. Unless I am remembering incorrectly, that is a movie, not a play revival.

They're likely talking about Carrie Coon in Bug

Correct...Bug instantly became my number one show of the seasons with Proof closely behind.

Thanks. I did forget about that one. I never get to see the winter production at MTC, so I probably unconsciously chucked it from the memory bank. I would love to see Carrie Coon live, but not enough to incur the additional expense of another trip to NYC, particularly in winter.

Sounds good but way too many plays and not enough original musicals.

Test page for this on Telecharge right now
As was rumored, this will play the Booth. Samira Wiley has joined as Claire, and Jin Ha will play Hal.
Amex presale is now live on Telecharge, promo code is AMEXPROOF.
Thanks for the heads up!

wow those prices even for the booth are CRAZY last row is $129!
I will wait to do standing room, thank you so much.
proof at the boof
Prices are surprisingly not as high as i was expecting. Not saying it’s “affordable”, but i was expecting much worse.

Jin Ha was a highlight of Here We Are and M Butterfly, great to have him back on the boards.
Interesting that it shows the running time as two hours no intermission, Kail is pulling a Mantello
God, I really hope they come to their senses and retain the intermission. Proof is such a classically structured, old-fashioned Broadway play. The lights-out moment after the revelation at the end of Act One can be truly thrilling. I remember people gasping and talking about it all through the interval during the original production.

How is the mezz in the Booth? I know the theater is tiny, but I've only ever sat in the orchestra there and I am not paying those orchestra pricecs. From pictures on Seatplan and A View From it looks like the barrier in front of the mezz is tall and could potentially block your view if you were a few rows back. But I am also fairly tall (6'2") so it may not be an issue for me.

It’s iconic to the point of almost being cliché! I hope they keep the intermission.

I sat in the last row of the mezz for Little Bear Ridge Road yesterday and had a great view

Thanks. I meant more for the first few rows if that wall at the front is distracting. But maybe I should just go further back

It's already been updated to "two hours with intermission," so they changed their minds or it was an error
