RENT 30th Anniversary Concert - 10/26 at Richard Rodgers Theatre

I wonder why they don't have the Nederlander. Even if it's still open then, SCHMIGADOON! is scheduled to be dark that night.

I bet tickets for this are insanely hard to get, right?

They haven’t gone on sale yet but I’m sure they will be

Members of Broadway Cares’ Visionary Circle, Angels Circle and NextGen Network have early access to tickets from now until June 1st.
Tickets range from $350 - $3000 and will sell out immediately I can only assume.
Again, not getting why we get a one-night celebration when it was written/about/debuted here when London gets a whole ass revival.

The wording definitely implies they couldn't get the whole OBC. Wonder who's not showing up.

1) It's being produced and GM'd by the same office as HAMILTON.
2) It's a fundraiser, and the Rodgers has around 150 more seats.
3) Most of the mezzanine seats in the Nederlander are painfully uncomfortable for anyone over 5'6"!

A neat little detail about the poster art: "The poster art for the 30th anniversary concert has been designed by Naomi Mizusaki, who created the show’s first iconic ad, and Drew Hodges, who led the original design team for Rent."
I think it's pretty perfect; pays homage to the original, and doesn't look like a 30-minute Photoshop/AI monstrosity. It would make a great cover for a "Rent @ 30: Live" album release...

Posted: 5/31/26 at 3:59pm
I already posted the price range weeks ago and yes, it is nearly sold out.

Oh no. I’m really hoping I can get tickets tomorrow.

Events like this are kind of loaded against the general public, unfortunately.

Only the early access tickets are sold out. They made a certain amount available for those.

I sincerely hope you get tickets tomorrow, but the three groups I named in my first post have had access to it for weeks, so it's pretty limited.

Sorry Sutton, but (once again) you are wrong. They did not put the entire allotment of tickets on sale for the “presale”. A sizable block has been held for the general on sale tomorrow. Good luck to all who are trying tomorrow!

Why am I having anxiety about trying to get tickets to a show that I know will be impossible to get?

Same here. IIRC, Rent was one of the first shows to offer rush tickets. I hope they will have prices that reflect the realization that common folk want to be able to go to this event as well
