Ok I was not going to say anything but after rading more of what has been said today and some of the attacks on not just Anthony but on others involved in this I decided i need to speak my mind.

You may not like it, you may know people that do not like it, you may think that it deserves no awards or anything. I respect your opinion, that is what it is. But I will still defend it every day of my life as will many people who were not involved. I know it isn't perfect, but the cast members have said it isn't perfect.

The mere idea that they will look back and be see that it was awful and see that they were delusional about people's reactions is blasphomous. When I have gone to see it I have seen many people touched, thrilled with the movie, and raving about it. They saw the same thing. This musical, story, and movie means so much to so many people. Do you think they would have even been involved if they did not want to put their hearts and souls into this project? Some say they are promoting it for the money...did you read what you typed? Have you not seen these people involved? Have you never seen them talk and how passionate their words are, seen the love they have for performing, or read what they have to say in their defense?

And how dare you show any cast members disrespect...how dare you! They have all made huge contributions to the theater community. To help keep it alive, to keep the fans happy, and to keep us able to be here discussion the wonderful world of Broadway! You may not like what they have done or you may think that they are not as talented as others do, but show them your respect. They deserve as does anyone who respects the craft.

I have never before been ashamed of fellow members of this community, our amazing community. But now I am and that is all I haev to say.
