I know. You were asking it to me
BSo is just jealous because he hasn't been able to kiss Idina's naked a$$ on the big screen.

When has that ever stopped you?
________
No actor in Rent has made a huge contribution to theatre. A huge contribution would be being so talented that composer are writing shows for you - like Ethel Merman.
*Except Idina who made rape look sexy onstage. Sicko.

Yes, and Anthony has been nothing but respectful.
Posted: 12/13/05 at 10:34pm
And has anthony personally disrespected you? I doubt it beacuse he is respectful of all the people on this board

Most of the others I have no idea about.
MB, I totally agree about that. What is the "wonderful world of Broadway?" I have not seen Anthony be disrespectful though, so I can't really understand the anger against him. I generally think you are informed and enjoy your posts.

Once again.. took the words rigt out of my mouth.

Just y'all think these Rent actors or some sort of Gods. It's OK to be a fan of their talents, but some of you go too far.
Your statements have become hyperboles -

I find that statement very obnoxious and not amusing at all. I would never kiss someone's ass...that's where the poop comes from.
Posted: 12/13/05 at 10:39pm
If I were to start a "No talking about Rent" thread, it would be moved to the OT board, right?

Thank you OS!
But let this be a lesson - if someone messes - anthony included - I will not be pleased.

Anyone here still dwelling on arguments (specifically about whether celebrities should join heated message board arguments about their own work) from early November or way before then needs to get over it. You (plural?) are the ONLY one here who still cares about that issue! LOL. NO ONE is really intimidated by Anthony Rapp's presence now that the film has been out for a while and we've all spoken our two cents. No one but you still has a chip on their shoulder over that. Get over it. He and I have 'shaken hands' and agreed to disagree. Frankly, I'm interested in hearing him share details about whatever projects he's doing post-Rent - assuming that he is not taking a break from acting/writing.

Anthony, who I know means well, is combative with anyone who criticies his work or RENT. I have found many of his messages - both private and public to be slightly offensive in response to my opinions, yes.

::rolls eyes::
It's not like Idina bitches out everyone who hates Wicked.
She'd have an easier time personally calling all her fans at home.
Posted: 12/13/05 at 10:45pm
Not to start a fight or insinuate anything, but be fair. I don't think he'd *be* offensive if not previously offended.
Posted: 12/13/05 at 10:46pm
If one of us can be offensive first, so can he.
(Not saying he was - since I don't read most of his posts.)

He is no better or worse than the rest of us, but he does have a close association with RENT, again I can see being defensive about it, even though I do not agree that that is a good thing.

I don't get why he bothers with people who may not be fans of his or RENT - when he has a loyal fan base.
