Michael Bennett, when you make a statement, please insure that it's accurate beforehand. You posted the following comment: "Most people think the film is bad." This is an out and out falsehood. As I pointed out in my factual response, the film received a 53 from metacritic.com. Only 4 out of 34 reviews were "unfavorable." 17 were "favorable." The remaining 13 were "mixed." imdb.com gives the film a 7.1 with 54.6% of respondents giving it a 10.0. These are the facts. Perhaps you meant to say that most people you know think it's a bad film. If so, that is what you should have written. There is far too much nastiness and mean-spiritness by certain posters on this board. I won't name names because it would be hard to know where to begin. At least we know who Whiteboy Spice is, and that can't be said for the anonymous posters here who hide behind a screen name and someone else's face as their avatar and feel they can post anything they like because of that.

I haven't posted here in a week or two, I've been so wrapped up in my silly little DMB concerts.....but I feel so embarassed in a way, wen I come here and read that Anthony felt the need to post and defend himself and the film (YET again) --- why do some of you...a very small number of you on here of course...feel the need to bad mouth something or somebody when you know they are actually a part of this forum? Obviously you are just trying to get attention and get him to start talking....but it's a shame that finally when he does post, it has to be in response to somebody who is being negative. Sometimes I wonder why he doesn't just leave. I feel like if I were him I would get tired of posting the same thing over and over again to people who fail to be respectful of others on the forum. It's like wow, if you didn't like the movie, you didn't like it. Not everyone has to love it or even like it. When has a movie EVER come out, where everyone across the board loved it? Never in history has that happened and never in history will it ever happen. So get over yourselves. --- Of course this is directed to the idiots, not to the 98% of lovies on here.
"I would rather take a flawed movie that has as much heart and passion and life and joy and energy and truth in it as this film does over any film that is completely perfectly presented and perfectly constructed but has none of that heart and life." -Anthony Rapp
