My heart just broke.

I love her rendition of I Remember Sky from 'Evening Primrose'.

Such a lovely young woman. My condolences to her family and friends. It sounds like she had a rewarding and happy life after this memorable movie role.

I remember absolutely adoring Liesl when I first watched the Sound of Music as a kid. What a beautiful performer and wonderful person. She will be missed

With all due respect, Charmian Carr passed away on September 18, 2016.  

This post was bumped up because of Heather Menzies-Urich's passing on Christmas Eve.  She played Louisa in THE SOUND OF MUSIC film.

Oh my goodness, somehow I never noticed this in September (and carelessly didn’t check the date when it resurfaced). RIP to Heather Menzies-Unkrich as well
