Did they do the supporting categories?
HOW was Alan Cumming not nominated?!
Wow, that's amazing for Mr. Posner!! Damn!
Lol at Posner.
Thrilled for Carrie Coon! She was brilliant.
I find it so bizarre that they clearly loved TESTAMENT OF MARY, but didn't nominate Fiona Shaw... Updated On: 4/30/13 at 08:38 AM

Shut Up............The 2013 Tony have been cancelled, no way dude.
Not a bad bunch! Surprised that of Bette Midler, Fiona Shaw, and Holland Taylor that Taylor took it. Especially with the Best Play nod for Testament of Mary!
Wait, no Kathie Lee Gifford? The horror!
You know KLG will take this one nomination for Carolee as a reflection of her "great musical" that "nobody understood" and "was shortchanged because of hurricane Sandy" when the nomination is obviously only for Carolee's talent, nothing to do with this crappy show.

THIS! Also, the Posner lighting thing is a bit ridiculous. I predicted him for 2 slots (Pippin and Cinderella), but Kinky Boots? Give that spot to Ken Billington for Chaplin!
Really surprised at Bette's omission.
Interesting choices. I like this list a lot better than yesterday's for the Drama Desk.
I'm just happy that 3/4ths of the VIRGINIA WOOLF cast was nominated. It's the only production this season that I was completely bowled over by.
And yay for Tony Shalhoub.
List is up on the thread's first page.
By my count, it looks like Kinky leads the charge with 13 nominations to Matilda's 12. Matilda's omission from Sound Design was spot on.
And in revivals, Pippin killed it with 10.
Yup, KINKY got one more nomination than MATILDA. Wow.
Carolee will win. Hands down. She has no competition.
I'm shocked at Alan Cumming's shutout, but also did anyone notice JEKYLL & HYDE was completely shut out (Personal feelings aside)?
More to come later
KINKY BOOTS got more nods than MATILDA!
Exciting batch of nominees, with a lot of surprised - for me at least - including:
No Alan Cumming or Bette Midler or Lilla Crawford in the acting categories!
No The Nance in Best Play, but Testament of Mary.
Bring It On and Christmas Story in Best Musical (I thought only one of those earlier shows would break through).
Favorite category is definitely Featured Actor in a Play with Danny Burstein, Richard Kind, Tony Shalhoub and Billy Magnussen!
Also very excited for Shalita Grant and Cary Coon getting nominated in Featured Actress!
(Side note: feel somewhat badly that Weaver didn't get nominated but the other four main actors did).
