I'm hearing about 60-70 people will enter every 15 minutes.

That’s the exact same entry structure as Sleep No More. It’s to prevent entry bottlenecking.

Yeah, that's roughly the same as Sleep No More. But Sleep No More was more free form and able to drop groups off on different floors to spread it out. We have no idea what the actual "show" here is- I can't imagine it being as flexible if the intent is to present a 2-hour musical in any form.

Yes, they will keep doing these mini extensions to make it seem "super exclusive".

I have two tickets for Saturday, Sept. 6th at 8:15pm I’d like to sell. I was able to purchase tickets for another date during the ticket release today that works better for me. Let me know if you’re interested. Trying to get back what I paid.

I’d say ten mins of that will be walking/congregating. My guess is that there will be a verse and chorus of most songs, with a few sentences of exposition between songs, plus another ten mins for whatever dance stuff they’re putting in.

I didn't even know they went on sale today, I just happened to be buying my fall tickets today and saw a post about it. Signed up with my email and purchased around 12:15. I had to look around a little because I like first entry and as a teacher in MD I'm limited to weekends. Super easy!

A little more info about the actual show -- from Playbill's recent article about the extension.
"The production, modeled after the seminal immersive Shakespeare production Sleep No More, which ran for 14 years at NYC's McKittrick Hotel, seeks to immerse audiences by planting them right into the plot of Gaston Leroux's The Phantom of the Opera—of course, within the lens of Andrew Lloyd Webber's long-running 1986 West End-Broadway musical. Once you have entered the Opera House, you will join in on the "ghost hunt," tracing the steps of the infamous Opera Ghost, who has been terrorizing the theatre's performers and management. As the story unfolds, you learn of the Opera Ghost's mentorship over Christine Daae—a young soprano who has become the object of his obsession."
Playbill was part of a viral marketing campaign, detailed here (halfway through), in the lead up to the official announcement. Two new characters were added -- Sean, the Ghost Hunter (lolz) and Madame Zephyrine, a Fortune Teller.

The mask in the video looks extraordinary. Sadly the video was likely filmed with a reverse iPhone camera so resolution isn’t great, but still looks wonderful.

Does anyone know what day and time they are offering the next block of ticket dates after October 19? Apologies if this has been answered, but I haven't seen it.

Welp that makes me want to see it even less. I hate haunted houses.

A show about a murderer in a mask haunting an opera house might be spooky? Shocking stuff.

I'm a huge Phantom fan, but I can't muster up even the slightest bit of interest in this. Honestly, I'm more excited about the US tour that's launching in the fall!

I've heard that they have yet to start audience testing. Not 100% sure how true that is, but I suspect the first several performance days will be... wonky.
