But this is the first day tickets are on sale and for a presale through Monday. That usually doesn't translate to ticket prices like this the whole run, does it?

It will may be discounted/use dynamic pricing but the pricing isn’t just magically going to go down after the presale.

Oh wow, right, the ol “let’s start with very high prices for a limited time!” strategy, that makes so much sense and definitely is a viable and logical marketing strategy for a brand new show opening into a notoriously hard sell of a theatre. Thank you for your brilliant insight.

Is it usually always obvious that shows that start off-Broadway plan to go to Broadway as well? Heathers announced an extension but no Broadway plans, just tours. But I'm not sure it's eyeing Broadway at all. This could also be a one and done with no broadway plans.

Considering who the two leads are, it feels like there's a potential Broadway transfer. Heathers is too small of a show to head to Broadway.

Ok but also Lauren Zakrin as Christie Masters is also exciting casting. I was rooting for her on Legally Blonde Search for Elle Woods and always am excited to see her name on a casting notice.
