Rumor - A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC Broadway Revival 2025

Heard from a producer friend that there are plans for A Little Night Music revival with Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis aiming for Broadway early 2025. 

Supposedly there is already a creative team and theatre attached. Several A-list actors have been offered roles and it sounds like the whole cast is gonna be stacked with big names.

Yes this sounds like a thing that is without any doubt whatsoever absolutely going to 100% happen on Broadway in 2025 that we will be seeing on the stage.

Fun Fact: Jamie Lee Curtis isn’t a singer nor aspires to sing on any platform. At a party last year, she stated this when I told her she needs to do a Broadway musical.

I'm pretty sure this isn't true but at the same time, Jamie Lee Curtis schmoozed and networked her way into an Oscar she didn't deserve based on good-will and legacy, so her finding a producer for this wouldn't shock me. Not to mention, it would absolutely sell. Weirder things have happened!

The only confusing thing, I guess, is why Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan werent listed alongside the other 73 major celebrities coming to Broadway next year, but we will all humbly learn soon enough.

This discussion made me curious about the stage works of JLC's parents. I was a little surprised to see that they have only one Broadway credit apiece, although I suppose they became stars when film and TV were just becoming dominant so it kinda makes sense.

Tony Curtis as Osgood Fielding III in Sugar (when it was still titled Some Like it Hot) is the sort of stunt casting I absolutely live for, and Murder Among Friends that Leigh starred in looks like the sort of amusing crime farce that could play well in community theatre.
