Maybe this can be the rare play without stars to find commercial success on Broadway.

Thanks for sharing. I signed up for their mailing list for this information but haven't received anything.

Just thrilled the whole cast is staying with it, especially Pidgeon.
Preview pricing ($120, $80, $40) on Telecharge now 4/3 - 4/18. Just got two decent orchestra seats for $80 each. I’m happy.
Preview period also has shows on Mondays as well as all days 7pm /1pm start.
$40 for the entire rear mezzanine during previews is a great promo.

7pm every evening is a DRAG for me - I can never get out of work that early so my only choices now are Saturdays - at least one night a week should be 8pm

I understand this issue of 7pm for people getting out of work, but I am SO Thankful for 7pm start, especially for shows like this that run a solid 3 hours.
I’m grateful too because normally I miss out on preview pricing if it exists because I can’t do the 8pm start.
I read an article not too long ago that audiences have been more receptive to the earlier start since covid, I believe the UK has also taken this direction. Ive been suprised to see how many shows have moved to a 7pm start - and a 1 matiee on two shows days.
As an out of towner - I'm fine either way, as I'm usually getting a hotel room anyway - but I can definitely see how for commuters (from Jersey, the other bouroughs and CT) this can be more difficult. (But nicer getting home a tad earlier!)

What's INSANE is that this applies to the April 20th show as well. That's not only a Saturday night show, but also the night after opening night! (Those same exact seats are literally going for more than 3x as much money 2 nights later, on Monday April 22nd!)

I did not get the chance to see Stereophonic off-Broadway but would the songs that are used in the show make the show eligible for a Best Score nomination?

I think it should be, since all the songs were written specifically for the show.

It'll almost certainly be eligible for Best Score based on previous years' eligibility decisions (e.g., the Warchus Christmas Carol). I wouldn't be entirely surprised if it's nominated, but I'd be amazed if it won. The music is excellent, but there's just not much of it; this is very much a play with music. Anyone going into this hoping for a musical will be sorely disappointed. In the first act, in particular, the scenes break almost every time they're about to play a note.
Anyone know when the box office at the Golden opens or if it already has? I'll be in town this week and was hoping to save on fees.
TIA.
