Yeah, her liking a picture of that hat leaves a 15% chance that shes not actually MAGA. Her also liking pots from RFK and Tucker Carlson about all the insane stuff they plan to do to this country? Eliminates the last 15%.
Shes a right wing Trumpist, that seems clear. I think its perfectly reasonable for ticket buyers of all political stripes to make their show choices accordingly.

LOLOL. I was talking to a friend and what I think probably happened was this. I know a lot of celebs have alternate private Instagram acts and I think she probably just forgot to switch between them.

I'm not American so honestly, as much as I HATE him, I would not want to see her cancelled just because of the fact she may have voted for Trump (America is to blame for the fact he's there, not hers).
However, Brand is a disgusting abuser, so so many stories. He's found God just like prisoners find God in prison.

This! Brand had very liberal viewpoints and declared himself an atheist. As soon as accusations came out, he went into hiding and then announced he was a Christian. Dude is a grifter and liar and will do anything to save him image and try not to end up in prison.
I can understand someone having strong Christian values. That someone is delusional if they think that Christian values align with MAGA and Trump. These people spew hatred constantly and claim they are joking or make excuses.

I vaguely remember him being married to Katy Perry about a decade ago or even more. My PFC has developed around that time too and I stopped caring about every little step celebrities make and their endless drama. Majority of them are highly opinionated, narcissistic, insufferable people, many are not very educated or even intelligent so I stopped listening to what they have to say. So, no, I have very little knowledge of who Russel Brand is. The fact that he appears to be a born again Christian and an accused abuser doesn't surprise me. Christians have this funny thing when they forgive each other for all the horrible things they've done as long as they come home to Jesus.

If Nicole is MAGA it would be disappointing but there is no way I’m going to deprive myself of her performance because of her right to exercise her democratic right in what is meant to be a free country. The same reason that I still enjoy Christine Ebersole despite her being all kind of strange (9/11 conspiracy inside job, anti-vaxxer etc.).
You just lost the election to Trump by a much larger margin than anyone expected and the culture apparently still believes the best way to deal with opposing political viewpoints is to try and cancel them. I just don’t believe this works and is counter productive to your own cause.
You don’t mind because the culture is reinforcing your own beliefs for now - but historically this is not always the case (see: McCarthyism).
Of course everyone has the right to decide where they spend their money but you’re now going after someone who seems to literally reflect the majority USA opinion in a free and democratic country.
If you don’t allow room for people who hold different views to your own and won’t allow for an open debate they will just do what they have shown they will do, vote in private. Suppressing political ideas does not change minds.
Give me claws and a hunch, just away from this bunch.

No political debate was being had here. If Nicole had explicitly said what her views were and why, it's one thing. I live in an important swing district in a battleground state. The hostility my neighbors have shown towards my family since Trump came to power is breathtaking. People we've known for years have given us the cold shoulder and deliberately excluded us from the community.
I volunteered for the Harris campaign and spoke to dozens of voters. The country is not that conservative.
Save the scolding for elsewhere. I was planning on watching Sunset Blvd, but I am not going to validate this MAGAt on my own dime. Nicole has endangered the show. She could've kept her thoughts to herself.

Sorry but you know as well as I do that if she wanted to have a debate she would also be cancelled (see Laura Osnes). The fact is the left often try to suppress anyone that doesn’t agree with them, and I think all you have to do is look at the election results to see it doesn’t work.

What a sad little life you have if you think that way. Get a grip. The majority of people are mentally mature enough to handle this better. A gigantic majority of the people in the country voted this way and are proud of it. Stop the bullying, that has no place in theatre. That attitude is why people voted like this and what will change the theatre world for the better.
