"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022)
"Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009)
"Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

I was able to get one for Dogfight!"
I called the box office today and was told there were no more. Now looking online, I can't seem to get the code to work. Did you just do 30U30?
You don't need a code, but if you're looking for Dogfight specifically, I think they're sold out of the 30 under 30 seats. Saturday Night seems to have a lot of them at the moment and L5Y has two in the side box. If you hover over certain seats there's the regular price and the 30 under 30 option.
I am honestly surprised 2nd Stage didn't try to move the N2N concert to the Hayes, especially considering its the show's 10 year anniversary of opening on Broadway. This is partially selfish reasons as I can't/couldn't afford a subscription and tickets, but also considering it was in such demand before they even started selling tickets why not make more money by moving it to the Hayes. I know they are currently renting out the theater, but I am sure arrangements can be made with What the Constitution Means to Me's producers for a Monday night show, as has been done numerous times in other Broadway theaters, most recently Celebrity Autobiography and the Illusionists sharing the Marquis this past December.
I have tickets to L5Y and N2N. I'm kind of surprise there's still no announcement on casting especially for L5Y which is only one week away. They must be in rehearsal by now so they should know who will be playing the leads.
Does seem odd we don’t have any kind of cast announcement... was hoping Adam and Betsy would reprise their roles but given we are a week out with no confirmation that makes me feel like this will not be the case. I had high hopes for this concert series, but now I’m wondering if we will even get anyone of note?
Not going to lie. I'm not crazy about this casting announcement. I've never been a fan of Shoshana and it feels like JRB is doing this only because they couldn't find anyone else. I'm disappointed. I guess I was expecting something else. I have to decide what I'm going to do with the one ticket I have for this performance.

Yeah, this one is definitely an "everyone else is busy that night so this is the best we could come up with" cast. I sure hope they can do better with the other 3 concerts.
I'm actually looking forward to this casting. I have a soft spot for seeing composers perform roles they wrote (Dave Malloy in great Comet, Lin in Hamilton, etc.), even if they may not be the actors for the job. Although personally I was hoping Adam and Betsy would reprise their role. Still holding out for either Lindsay Mendez or Derek Klena to reprise their roles for Dogfight, since neither of them are currently working on any projects that I know of. But after the L5Y casting I am lowering my expectations. For Next to normal, I am hoping for Kate Baldwin as Diana. I think she would be brilliant, although I don't know if she would want to sing such a demanding score on her night off from Superhero.
